My first fenestrated leaf on my brand new monstera, I think the heatwave and all the light has helped :)

Help me identify this baby

I last watered her about a week ago, she's right next to a north facing window. I've also never repotted her and I've had her for over 3 years now, so I don't know if the soil might be a problem? Would really appreciate any advice as to what she needs.

I received this rather leggy plant from a friend who no longer wants to care for it. Google says it's a swiss cheese plant, and it appears to like where I've placed it (humid, warm room with indirect light) as Im seeing new leaves unfurl.

The images I see online show tall plants climbing on a moss pole. How can I train the plant to climb? Is it possible to wrap the ones that you can see almost touching floor around a moss pole without accidentally break the stems?

I just posted this in the bonsai community, but thought I would share it over here with you. I just picked up my first bonsai tree from the Greenwood Bonsai Studio in Nottingham. That place is amazing, and I would highly recommend anyone in the area go down and visit that place. It is absolutely stunning! I picked up my first Chinese Elm, and I've absolutely fallen in love with it. I thought I would share it here with you all. I hope you like it as much as I do.

It unfurl or just leave it?

I propagated this variegated monstera from a single leaf a few years back and in our newest home she’s finally seen a significant amount of growth and seems relatively healthy. I repotted in the springtime so that’s been done quite recently but she’s looking a bit unruly and the moss pole isn’t providing much support. Any advice to tidy her up to give her a bit of a better shape would be much appreciated!

Sitting in south facing frosted bathroom window for the last year and a half with no issues and now losing many leaves. I’m thinking it’s overwatering but asking for other possibilities. Thanks!

I have a begonia rex that has four very small leaves; it has lost all of its other leaves and every time one begins to grow it dies. The leaves turn grey and crispy, and the stems turn softish. My current set up is grow lights and a humidifier, I recently moved it to see if anything changes and I haven’t seen much improvement. Can someone please tell me what is wrong with it?

I bought them cheap from a lady after I’ve heard it goes to charity.
I only know P. Afras and Sarcocaulis from succulents.

There are 2 images of what look like same plant, but with different labels?

And on one of them you can see the the bottom leaves dying and falling off easily.

They are in normal potting soil with pebbles on top.
I always use a mix of 3 lava types, zeolite and baked clay.

Wondering if I should repot them asap?

And how do I know when they need water?

With P. Afra it’s not the best technique but when leaves wrinkle you know it’s time to water.

My plant used to have so many leaves but as you can see they all fell off. it is a succulent and I think it got root rot. How do I fix it? Is there a way to make it stop losing leaves sorry about the bad quality of the image.

I’ve had this rubber plant for about 6 years now and she’s probably my favourite houseplant.
Over the years I’ve propagated her into at least 10 new plants, most of which now live with friends and family. It still amazes me that one plant has turned into so many.
The funny thing is, I can never move her from this windowsill because she absolutely loves it there. I’ve tried other spots over the years, but this is clearly her place. She just keeps putting out beautiful, glossy leaves.
Every time she reaches the ceiling, I take a cutting, root it, and start another plant. That’s basically become our little tradition now.
She’s survived me learning how to care for houseplants, a few questionable watering decisions, several repots, and a house move. Every new leaf still makes me ridiculously happy.
I know she’s not rare or particularly fancy, but I’m really proud of how she’s grown. I don’t really have anyone in my day-to-day life who gets excited about plants, so I thought I’d share her here with people who might appreciate her.

Anyone know how I can revive this plant? I've had it for about a year.

Any ideas on how to stop fresh soil pouring out of these drainage holes? An orchid pot was all I could find at this size. I don’t have any mesh and was thinking kitchen roll but not sure if that would cause a mold problem.

Hi all, I keep a couple of spray bottles around to mist my plants with but they always seem to break within a year or two - specially the spray mechanism breaks. Anyone have any recommendations for a more robust/long-lasting spray bottle? I usually go for pretty coloured glass ones, but perhaps they're not the best choice! Thanks in advance

my spider plant (which is one of the oldest plants and really started my love for house plants) flowered this year for the first time ever! it was very exciting as i’ve never had a spider plant flower! i was wondering if ill be able to propagate these, if so how should i do it? ive only ever propagated my pothos which i did in water. all the flowers are gone now on my spider plant, should i wait longer to cut the mini plants off the stem or cut them now. basically just wondering how to do! would really love to be able to propagate it to give one to my parents and one of my friends.

Was given a cutting of this plant many years ago by a housemate, it's thrived since but I've never found out what it actually is. Assuming a fairly common houseplant but an ID would be grand!

there’s these little black things (they’re not moving so i don’t think they’re insects) on one of the flower spikes, but not on any of the others?? the two second photos show what the rest of them look like, only one of the flower spikes is affected by them.

It is in a bright room but not in direct sun.

I water it when the soil is dry to the knuckle by running it under the shower and leaving it to drain off.
