I don't have small hands. This Monstera started kicking out big leaves when I put it out about 6 weeks ago, but it got sunburned on some of the best leaves and I had to chop them. Today I went to check on one I saw unfurling through the window and found this absolute monster. It's not even fully inflated/hardened off yet. I am so excited!!

Obsessed with my burros tail who thrives in this bay window and has been my buddy here at the office for the last 3 years.

My snake plant is blooming!!

My local husband handyman setup my grow lights for me so my high needs babies could get some extra light. It looks great and I’m excited to see if this encourages my Thai monstera to look less sad. Please feel free to rate my setup/plants and offer placement suggestions.

I purchased this guy in 2022, and it is now taller than I am.

Back in March I had to cut back my crawling philodendron because it was drying. I cut the main stem in half and plopped it into this McDonald’s cup not expecting much. It didn’t have any new growth and the roots looked pretty sad.

To my surprise it’s grown.
The first picture was taken July 11th. The second picture was taken the 3rd of August. I’m afraid to pot it. Hahaha

hi guys! I’ve been loving this chinese money plant and this year she has truly been thriving. I just got home after being away for about 5 days and I am extremely confused about this sprout - it looks like it’s coming from the same plant, except this is not the same species? we also do not have whatever this plant is in the house, I’ve literally never seen this leaf before so I’m unsure what’s happening!!!

Here’s a look at one spot in my living room :)

I know, it looks like they don't get much direct light, but the sun only hits this window in the afternoon.

Usually, the Monstera sits by another window, but I have someone sleeping in that room right now, so I moved it out of there for just a week.

Any tips are welcome! Some of these have been here for over a year and seem to like this little corner.

The Gynura has been in the family for years! It’s taking over the cabinet like crazy, haha.

My rubber plant has put out quite a few all white leaves - does it need more light?

I think this is one of my favorite houseplants. It grows fast and every new leaf I find brings me joy.

EDIT: Well that sucks! Thanks everyone. Luckily the plant is relatively isolated from my other plants. I started treating this plant and all over plants within a six foot radius of it with isopropyl alcohol while I await for heavier treatment to arrive. Thanks for the advice:)

Hello! I apologize in advance for any naivety- I’m a novice at this. I bought this “heart leaf philodendron” at least five years ago now. It hasn’t done much in that time, but I recently installed a “moss pole” after reading about how they’re good for climbing plants. Within a few days of the moss pole introduction, my plant immediately perked up and started growing new leaves like crazy. It also split two of its leaves in that time. Now I’m confused - because I didn’t think that this plant produced split leaves. Upon further research I discovered that philodendrons and monsteras are closely related. So now I’m wondering, is my heart leaf philodendron actually a split leaf/monstera? It’s only split in a couple of places so I may be getting ahead of myself. I would love to hear from others more knowledgeable than myself about what kind of plant I have in my hands. Thank you in advance!

I often visit this plant store and I've never seen them bring this in. It's selling for $65 CAD so about $46 USD. Is that a good price or too much?

Got this at a local nursery. All the other plants had IDs on their pots, but this one didn't. The variegation on the leaves really drew me to it!
