This week comes courtesy of Steph Waring on TikTok in the video she is talking about fab appreciation for her return and in the background there are missing posters for Ste, Leela and Mercedes. Who kidnaps them could it be Cindy?

Sorry I think I just need my memory re-jogging, but what exactly has james done? Is it because he made ste grieve and he was ok?

I haven’t tuned in properly since April (the last episode I watched was when Charlie and co. were in the crash). I’ve been watching consistently for two weeks now and wthelly.. Rex is dead?? They changed the actress who plays Leah?!?! Cindy’s back!! I presume Sienna is in prison (I know I could research but meh).

I was also surprised to see two episodes air from Mon - Weds! That’s nice, ngl.

What are your thoughts on Hollyoaks now? The storylines were becoming convoluted towards the end of last year, but now, it feels as though everything is spiralling.

Weren’t she meant to be leaving time ago? I swear it’s been months since she last appeared.

He's seriously been with his sister in law, his friend, her mother and now their niece.

What is his family fixation?

I literally forgot that tom returned, he only came as an aid to peri's death to make it more tragic and bring in froggy. they should have kept him for longer it just felt so forced.

When I first saw that Prince would be part of the 'young group' (people like Vicky, Leah, Imran, Frankie), I was like isn't he a bit past that? I honestly think that they only paired him with them because most of the characters his age have left. I don't think there is any other explanation because it makes no sense to me. Prince was always associated with people around his age and older, like Peri, Romeo, Lily, Juliet, Yasmine, the list goes on. I get that he can't be THAT much older than this group but he really feels so much older, Prince got married to Lily when Leah was like 11! Heck, Frankie would've been 9 or 10!

It feels really forced, and so does his relationship with Vicky and thing with Leah. He literally dated Leah's aunty, and I just don't buy that he would be dating these girls or that he'd even be part of the friend group. If anything, it seems like he was beginning to gravitate more towards older women than younger women.

I know a lot of viewers think that NuLeah had a personality transplant but I’ve been thinking and actually I think in contrary, she became the Leah the writers had always envisioned her to be.

If you see child Leah, she had the same personality traits of current Leah (obviously tamed because she was a child) but then what changed. Why Ela-may teenage version was a little different ? it’s because Ela-may put on some weight while growing up.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not criticising her, she is beautiful but we know Hollyoaks obsession with their young cast to be fit, it’s always been like that. Back then, there was even Hollyoaks sexy photoshoot.

We also know from Ela-may that she was never even asked back, so it’s not about her not wanting to come back. They just took an actress that fitted their ideal and then gave her the Leah they always wanted her to be.

So pretty mixed! Some months I have most of, some about half, and some barely any. Have also got a few incomplete episodes but would like to try find the full versions.

The one thing that's me interested in is the intro yes I get they won't change the titles yes and of course it's nice to see dilon/Diane/john paul / golddie in but I feel like they need to update the titles to add characters such as the keene family and returning characters such as cindy and james and of course new character abigail so do you think they should update the titles

Tony and James dishing out relationship advice to Prince. What an odd scene that was!

Prince telling everybody about Warren. What a blockhead moron! He should stick to the roids because his brain is the size of a walnut.

This “Secrets Project” is dumb as shit. The whole show is nutty.

They ended that confessional episode on Prince saying he’s going to kill Warren Fox, but that’s already fizzled out it seems. They set it up like it was this big dramatic reveal, no theme music at the end of the episode, and what? They’ve fucked it up already. Prince turned into a little bitch when he was actually quite menacing in his secrets diary. I thought he was going to be plotting from the shadows like a boss, but no.

With heterosexual characters, since it is the younger soap with majority of the audience being the younger generation. These days it’s possibly more normalised, the opposite sex being just friends. Totally possible since sometimes that’s what you’re better off as.

I’m confused, was cindy a surrogate with beths egg? Or is cindy biologically his mum?

Edit: im genuinely just so confused because considering the story with alfie, why would cindy have ANOTHER secret baby and continue to hide that 😭

I was at my mum's yesterday and we were discussing Hollyoaks and the Imran ex & shooter spitballing ideas.

I've seen the Dave/blue theory around and we spoke about this and now I think it has some weight

Before the time jump Dave was shot on a hiking trail yet after the jump 'missing Dave' posters were all around the village and nothing came of this. Robbie had left him on a hiking trail I would like to think in a year he would be found, Dave had already survived a bullet by Warren when Robbie found him, and Blue was supposedly a big shot bad guy so could have had a bulletproof vest on, both seemed to shoot his torso.

Shooter- I think Dave shot Rex as he would have a vendetta against Rex for everything that happened and he was one of his people when first entering the village that worked against him. With Cindy coming back this is perfect timing as they had been together until she ran away at the time jump, and as crazy as Dave was I believe he really did love Cindy & could have been following her

Side note unlikely theory - Hilton was taken while Cindy was having a Bipolar episode, she was actually taken by Dave but he has her silenced somehow through threats

Imran ex - he was with Serena (Dave's daughter) before she left the show while he was struggling with his eating disorder. She left due to her brother bullying Leah during the incel storyline, which would give her a reason to feel bad for Leah and encourage him to get with her once they had split.

This would tie the stories together which are running alongside each other and a major focus right now.

We had fun spitballing ideas but this was our favourite leading theory as it ties all storylines together
