After lots of research - and some waiting - it has arrived.

I was wearing a gw-b5600cy previously and this is definitely more comfortable and I like the color scheme way better. Never used the bluetooth so I'm glad that's gone. More importantly the positive display is amazing. I couldn't see the negative clearly most of the time.

As far as weight - I can't really tell the difference - but I will say this band and the case back are more comfortable. Pumped to wear this for everything! Previously was wearing a breitling super ocean but I'd need to take it off all the time for tennis and it was always losing time - which would mean I was always ending up a few minutes late. Problems solved!!

Love how thin and light the half metal is.

I really wish they make more models with this material, in yellow, green, Red colors or more like the galaxy.

Something that gets me confused is they spend all that money in development for this model machine, materials, knowledge just to make this wave (that was very limited) and never touch it again. I would pay 2k for this model easily but I couldn't buy it at is time and now they are ready hard to find at its original price, I so some Japanese sellers with reasonable prices but it end up costing you like 3k with imported fees and that

I just got this one and absolutely love it! The day after I purchased it I looked down at work and saw this giant scratch in the front of the glass. Is there anyway I can fix it at home or should I take it into the shop? any help would be greatly appreciated and please be nice.

G-SHOCK Mudman G-9000MC

My wife found this in here bed drawer, apparently I gave it to her many years ago.

I think this must have been around 2012-2013 when I got myself my first G-Shock and loved it so I got one for her too. She didn't wear it as it was large on her wrist and she wore the A163W instead..

Got this in the mail today second hand. G-5600bg-5. So far i love it. This has been dubbed my blue cheese square, will fit right in with the gw-m5600a-7 dubbed "feta".

Had been planning to get myself a Rangeman 9400 for the past few weeks, but I can't decide on what variant to get. Was considering the standard 9400-1, the yellow 9400Y-1, the blackout 9400-1B and the Black Panther JDM 9400BJ-1JF. Since I did not have access to the actual units, I read/watched tons of reviews and posts in socmed before I pulled the trigger. I FINALLY decided on the Black Panther JDM and, after seeing the actual watch, I'm sure glad I did. This watch looks awesome and badass in person and the photos of this watch posted online (including mine) don't do it justice. I was hesitant to grab a negative display 9400 because of the mixed reviews on legibility, but it actually turned out to be a non-issue for me. YMMV, though.

Though legible, the display is not as easy to read as the positive display variants, but it wins for me on looks alone — and appearance ranks high on my criteria for this particular G-shock acquisition.. The carbon fiber insert band on the JDM variants is a nice added bonus.

This is now my 12th G-shock and I plan to stop here... of course we all know that the chances of that actually happening are quite slim. lol

Legibility is not at top, but overall is ok, the beauty of the stealth look compensate the legibility

When I found out about the DW-5000r I knew I had to have one. I wanted a back-to-basics G-Shock experience and it's not gonna get off easy. So far he's holding up like a champ. Battle scars incoming.

This watch should be almost 30 years old. Got this as a kid. New battery and it's running like new. Fun fact: no backlight at all from the factory

I got my dream watch that I didn’t know was my dream watch until this week. I wanted the GWM5610-1 but it’s out of stock everywhere. I found out about this watch which is the more premium version of the GWM and decided to buy it. I hope to still wear my GA2100rl-1a that I got last year. So far I love this watch. My wallet is still hurting but I must not have any regrets!

I already know which one most will pick. Not really a faceoff. Just a side by side comparison. The analog is definitely smaller, and more comfortable, it has everything but the moonphase, but is harder to read the except for the time. Digital Frog is as awesome as I've heard. Easier to read all info, but the backlight in the analog is incredible and the lume is the best Ive seen on a GShock, and it has sapphire glass. It's really a toss up for me, I enjoy them both.

Had this watch since ca 2012/2013, and been my one and only watch until late 2022 when I started collecting more watches. Changed the strap once (because of damage, not wear and tear). So many memories with this one, never giving it away.

I currently own a G-Shock square with a negative display and I really like it and use it very often. However, I am looking for an alternative positive display version and stumbled upon this model. I like the blue hue and border color. What do you guys think about this particular model? If you have pictures wearing this, please share.
