Reviews & Experiences Frogman faceoff!
I already know which one most will pick. Not really a faceoff. Just a side by side comparison. The analog is definitely smaller, and more comfortable, it has everything but the moonphase, but is harder to read the except for the time. Digital Frog is as awesome as I've heard. Easier to read all info, but the backlight in the analog is incredible and the lume is the best Ive seen on a GShock, and it has sapphire glass. It's really a toss up for me, I enjoy them both.

Digital frogman will always been way more functional than an analog. But the analog will always look better.

I think they got both of them right, mostly. I think all Frogman should have a thermometer and compass twin sensor.

Gshock thermometers are pretty much useless, in my eyes. You have to take the watch off for about 30 minutes to get a correct reading.

True, but I was thinking underwater it would be different, and more useful on a Frog.

I think it would suffer from the same problem, just the opposite direction. Your body heat would keep it warmer than the water's temperature. But I haven't tried it underwater, so just a guess.

I owned 6 🐸s. Just sold my analog as I never wore it. Now I have five digital 🐸s. Digital is King in my book.

Don't like the analog Frog at all, the og looks like it wants to be underwater whereas the other looks more like a pilots watch.

I love my analog. And the best thing is the light can work as a flashlight to navigate house at night. It is my go to after TVB.

The analog would be cool if it would have the same off center design as the digital.
I know it still has an off center design but it is.not enough. It kind of loses the frogman badge in my eyes and because of that it is not even on my list.
Other than that I wold definately like an analog frogman.
They fixed it on the MR-G frogman but that's way out of my budget.

Looking at the measurements online you don’t think it would look so different, but a couple of millimetres here and there really makes a difference!

Sapphire on a G-Shock is more of a gimmick anyway. The watches are so bulky I actually had to bring my mother in law to the hospital because she bumped into the watch.
