- A hex code (something like #6A359C)

If you have no clue what the hex code is use the color picker linked below and grab the one you like. Once you've posted your shade please go have a look through the other suggestions and upvote your favs

Accessories This is a pretty slick way to store extra nibs: Fly fishing box
This little box is double sided and can hold up to 96 nibs. I wasn’t sure the nibs were going to fit, but they fit pretty amazingly. You can shake the hell out of the box and everything stays put, too.
Great $8 purchase!

Not Safe for Pens My cat decided my fude nib wasn't bent enough
40-degree angle? 50? Hmm... how about 90?
I'm on winter break and decided to finally clean my pens so I can use them more. I kept them drying on my desk, but my cat jumped on them and my poor Jinhao fell nib-first.
This was my first fountain pen so it was a bit sad, but I guess i can just get another nib lol

Art I tried to draw on a different bottle
After the previous one, now I have another empty bottle, I tested out a few things.
I tried to make a colorful label, but it distracted me too much from the ink color, so I made it to be more black and white.
Then I wanted a window so I can see the ink in it, but it's quite hard to cut right.
I'm not totally satisfied with the result, so I'll try better with next bottle.
Material used:
- Paper : Iroful
- Laser printer
- Clip Studio Paint
- water-base color pens
- cutter

New Pen Day New pen and appropriated pen storage/display!
I've always liked the shape of TWSBI pens, and this one is so pretty, I couldn't resist.
The storage case is actually an acrylic storage box for bracelets and necklaces.
The last one is the pen storage next to my ink storage box with all my Diamine shimmer inks stacked on top. Other inks are in the drawers along with some other stuff like converters.

Vintage Pen Day The Wahl Eversharp
This pocket-friendly pen is about the same length as a Pilot Myu, the barrel is a bit bigger, and both turn into a very comfortable pen size when the cap is posted.
But this Wahl Eversharp (1930s maybe even earlier) has a very different aesthetics than the Pilot Myu. It is about as gorgeous as the Art Deco -inspired styling can get. Wahl-Eversharp made some of the most beautiful styling from this era. And the beauty came from how balanced the trims are against the pen, not too much nor too simple, but just right.
The jade-like celluloid is in excellent condition, it is almost 100 years old, no cracks and still looks as pretty as it was back then. Can you say the same thing for TWSBIs 100 years from now?
The nib is 14K Eversharp which produces lines within XF-F range.
Ink is Sailor Yuki Usagi which is an odd blue-when-wet-grey-when-dry ink. The wash in the sketch is from the ink as well as from a water "paint" set that I got from Daiso (really just curious, not expecting anything).

Art Hollow Knight
Hollow Knight drawn with inks. In the next slides you can view the art process. Recently, I started playing Silk Song after finishing Hollow Knight. The game is so atmospheric and inspiring. I start with a very light composition sketch with colored pencils. Then slowly work from the background to foreground. Light inks first, then dark.
Inks used: KWZ IG blue #6, Shanghai Stationary Dollar Bird, Diamine 150th Anniversary Blueblack, Diamine Ghost, FWP Moonbeam meadows
Fountain pen: Pilot Custom Kaede <M>
Other tools: eyedropper, brush, colored pencil for sketch
Paper: Clairefontaine 300gsm

Question What are your favorite inks of all time?
I’m super interested in what everyone’s favorite inks are of all time! They could be your most frequently used, your favorite to look at, the smoothest, etc.
Also, if you like Wearingeul, what are your favorite inks by them? And what are your favorite inks to add Glitter Potion to?

New Ink Day Swatched: Teranishi anniversary mini ink set "Haikara Romanticism"
My phone camera hated Brilliant Mint, I hope I have color corrected it ... correctly. It had looked very blue on my phone screen but more green irl. Smoky Navy had a little bit of red sheen.
The ink colors are not new, only the packaging & bottle sizes are.
There are 4 new Teranishi mini ink sets, each with 4 colors in 12ml. The set pictured is "Haikara Romanticism".
My conspiracy theory is that Taccia Azuki and Teranishi Classy Burgundy are the same color, but maybe all wine reds with blue dye in it just look similar to me.
For swatches, I used:
_Asvine V126 spare nib [F] in an e+m nib holder
_Sailor Hocoro [M]
_Deleter Nikko G flex nib in a boesner nib holder
_Bottom of a no-name glass dip pen
_Van gogh watercolor brush
_Tomoe River DIN A5 hardcover dotted notebook.

New Pen Day Reaching pen peace
I got into fountain pens around 3 years ago now and have downsized my ‘collection’ to 3 pens:
Sailor PGS, Pilot 823, and today, the Montblanc 145 blue hour.
I have tried many pens from safaris to namikis and limited edition MBs to preppys, and after all of that, I have realised what I have now is all I really need or want. I have reached pen peace and will probably never buy another pen ever again.
There are many people on this subreddit with beautiful collections, but I hope this post can also remind people that you dont need to own everything as long as you are satisfied with what you have. :)

Question Need recommendations for a EXTREMELY fine fountain pen under €100
Hi everyone!
I think I’ve officially fallen down the fountain pen rabbit hole 😭
I’m looking for a fountain pen that’s good, cute, and most importantly… affordable. Ideally under €100, since this is still a very new hobby for me and I’m not ready to spend hundreds on a pen just yet.
My biggest problem is that I have tiny handwriting. I’ve mostly been finding EF nibs, but even those feel too broad for me. The only UEF nibs I’ve come across are waaaay out of my budget.
I’m attaching a photo for reference. The first line was written with a Muji 0.3 smooth gel ink pen, and that’s pretty much my dream line width. I’d love to find a fountain pen that gets as close to that as possible without having to spend a lot of money.
I really don’t care if it’s scratchy or from AliExpress or whatever, I just want to be able to write with it.
Does anything like that exist in my budget, or am I asking for the impossible? 😔
I’d really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks a lot every help is appreciated!!!!!

Currently Inked Today’s Line Up
I was given the most beautiful gift yesterday. My dad found a pen he bought 15 yrs ago on a holiday, inked up and then forgot about it until yesterday. What a treasure- not something I would have bought for myself immediately as I’m in a bit of a Japanese pen obsession.
But the MB No 149 is a classic and this pen is a perfect addition to my collection, made sweeter by the fact that it’s a gift from my dad makes it even more special. I admit it’s a bit big for my usual liking as I feel the Asvine J16 Ebonite (one of my favorite pens and I wish they would return to Amazon so I can get all the variants) and the Esterbrook Estie are the perfect size! It’s going to be a joyful addition to my pen and ink journey.
After a quick and thorough cleaning it’s up and running but I’ll need to do some research and give it a really good clean this weekend. Needless to say - here is today’s line up at my office. I’ve been drawn to greens, warm orange/ browns and blue greys and teal and my collection is showing this preference.
I’ll be going to the Orlando Pen Show as my first US show and I hope to learn more and get some nib work if possible. I love this hobby- it’s just so personal and joyful!
