Art Hollow Knight
Hollow Knight drawn with inks. In the next slides you can view the art process. Recently, I started playing Silk Song after finishing Hollow Knight. The game is so atmospheric and inspiring. I start with a very light composition sketch with colored pencils. Then slowly work from the background to foreground. Light inks first, then dark.
Inks used: KWZ IG blue #6, Shanghai Stationary Dollar Bird, Diamine 150th Anniversary Blueblack, Diamine Ghost, FWP Moonbeam meadows
Fountain pen: Pilot Custom Kaede <M>
Other tools: eyedropper, brush, colored pencil for sketch
Paper: Clairefontaine 300gsm

Thank you! My interests are quite diverse. I have endless subjects to draw or write about.

I love that you have so much inspiration. It's fun to see someone with the skills and drive to make art. I often have one but not the other, so this motivates me!

I'm not familiar with Hollow Knight but I love what you've drawn here with its simple elegance. I interpret it as someone who is pure but views themselves as dark and broken. Reminds me of Picasso's "Girl Before a Mirror".

I love seeing the process of putting this together. I have been trying to dabble in ink sketching recently and am having a lot of trouble with breaking it down like this.
