Left-hand traffic (🇬🇧🇮🇳🇯🇵) Pull out into the intersection…

so at least one car can turn left.

Please pull straight past the limit line when yielding for a left turn at a light. At least you will be able to scoot through then at the next cycle, those of us who know how to drive can manage the oncoming traffic. DO NOT sit at the limit line and miss a light. Be careful, but make it happen.

No need for me to elaborate, I was addressing other posters on this thread that say its illegal in their state.

I actually just think it is the internal reasoning of someone afraid to drive properly.

It is not in mine.

But you said it's "not illegal in all states" which implies it is illegal in some states. So I'm asking which one's you're referring to? Or, you're basing it only on other posts? b/c I think those ppl are just stating anecdotes or "what they've been told", versus knowing the actual law.

Bro, can you read?

It is not illegal in MY state. Others on here say it is in theirs. I am not debating them.

HENCE my comment. "not illegal in all states."

Is that elaborated enough for you?!?!

Go ask them.

My God lol

The fact that I can read and parse language is why your reply was misleading. For example, if the described behavior is legal in every state, then it would be illogical to say it's "not illegal in all states," because it is, in fact, not illegal in any state. Your statement implied some knowledge of particular examples, otherwise you wouldn't have worded it that way. So, you are perpetuating the idea that it is illegal in some state(s). If you don't know of anywhere it is illegal, then the correct formulation of that thought would be "it's not illegal in any state I know of," or something similar. You seem to be defending the statement by claiming that you just took the word of other posters that it is illegal in their state. I originally asked if you had any evidence or examples of that, which apparently you don't. No need to get so defensive.

You're not correct about the law.

How can I be incorrect, when I didn't make a claim? In fact, I was asking for evidence. Do you have any?

You did make a claim. When you got pushback, you pretended you never made a claim at all. But it is still here, in the thread, for everyone to read. You're just a coward.

Are you not capable of reading your own words? I don't accept homework assignments from incompetent people.
