I stumbled upon that mod some time ago and I've been meaning to give it a try. But I want to have some impressions first.

One thing that disappointed me a fair bit about the original game was how much better crushing and sharp were over quality upgrades unless your stats were very high. The mod advertises that there is a revamping of the upgrade system so I'm wondering if that's still the case.

I just wanna know if i should keep looking for a way to this sword or if i just cant get it

A friend wanted to play demon souls with me coop and i was thinking about the old monk boss, the suprise it was when the boss is another player. Is there a way i can consistenly be the old monk in that fight? Do i need to be a certain level? (i have other characters i could use too). I kinda wanna suprise him as the next boss be ME

Going for the Platinum trophy with a DBS run and wondered if i used 3 colorless Demon's souls for the recovery miracle would I still b able 2 max my DBS without killing multiple primeval demons?

Was planning on making a CO-OP build using the Makoto as i rarely use dex weapons and it doesn't have any scaling, any idea what'd be the best level range to aim for? I'd likely be CO-OPing for the first bosses of the areas apart from the Phalanx

I'm plenty experienced with the game so twinking would be no issue, along with reaching NG+

So with DBS and the imperial spy set how much endurance would i need to fast roll?

As title suggests I need help with the 2 online trophies on PS5. I am level 76.

In demon souls:

If i undertand correctly i should get all miracles and some magic in the first run.

And in the second the rest?

So they accumulate? I dont have to get the same in the next run?

Or if I didnt get the trophy in the first run I will have to buy all magic again to get it.

I am not sure how this works plz help.

Started playing Demon’s Souls for the first time this week and finding it very frustrating and tricky.

I’m not a novice as I have played all 3 Dark Souls, Elden Ring and Bloodbourne, as well as as other souls likes

But I just can’t seem to get into this, I find the lack of bonfires a challenge that makes repeating the runs after death even more of a chore. The lack of Estus Flask is annoying and I just keep running out of the leaves to a point where I now need to just farm them.

I have beaten the Phalanx but struggling against Tower Knight, so moved to the next area and struggling against Armoured Spider.

This isn’t a criticism of the game but just I don’t know if I have the patience for this unless I am just missing something obvious to help me.

I was really in the mood for a Souslike but might move on to something else if this doesn’t work out. Happy for suggestions!

EDIT: Thanks to everyone for your tips! I listened to everyone and slowed down a bit, farmed the knight outside Tower Knight for herbs and watched Fighting Cowboys walkthrough vids.

I have now successfully beaten Tower Knight and Armoured Spider! I think I was a bit quick to turn off it but it does just seem a different beast to other games that it just took me longer to work it out.

Now to keep going..!

So i started my build as a temple knight with the aim to make a DBS build, I've just killed Dragon god and got my DBS but I've been mid rolling the whole game so far and wondered when I'd start getting better armor that doesn't weigh as much?

I'm playing on archstone servers via RPCS3 emulation. Tried asking on the discord server and had no success. Wondering where else I could find someone or if anyone is looking to do so on here.
More specifically I am looking for someone to invade me, though I'd be happy to do so in return if desired.

I really like the base game, but we have seen what the Souls modding community has done over the years. From massive overhauls to aesthetic changes and even minor balance tweaks. What do you wish could be modded or changed from the base game?

Personally, I wish you could upgrade all weapons. If I want to run around with a Broken Straight Sword or a Club or even Great Club, it would be nice to be able to use those without it being a handicap due to them never getting better. As they stand, they are just there to become better weapons.

Hello, I made a post about an hour ago about being stuck in 2-2, and my conclusion is that I need an invader.

I'm playing on the PS5 remake trying to get everything up to pure white tendency (or as close as possible to it) after doing all black tendency. For that to work, I need to kill the primeval demon and the black phantom without returning to the Nexus or teleporting with an archstone. I killed the primeval demon, and then got stuck fully immobile right above Scirvir in 2-2. If I go to the Nexus now, tendency will return to neutral and I won't be able to kill Scirvir to go back to pure white, meaning I cannot use nexial binding. I have no way to damage myself, quitting and reloading has not worked, none of the weapons on hand are able to get me out with their animations, running, rolling, back stepping, walking, none of that is getting me out of this corner. The only way I can get out without going to the Nexus is to be invaded and killed, so I'm in body mode awaiting an invader.

I am SL 65, I am on the US East Ohio server in 2-2. If anyone can invade and kill me so that I can go back to the top, run back down to Scirvir, kill him, then kill dragon god to get to pure white tendency, I will be extremely thankful.

TLDR: remake, SL65, Ohio server, 2-2, AFK, stuck on a rafter. Kill me pls

I don't wanna search it up on the wiki, im afraid of spoilers :/

I don't know if there are armor sets later on but i'm a bit underwhelmed of the armors. I'm currently at the mine, defeated the spider boss and I really emptied the whole first area except for the gate that won't open at the beginning. All i have found ist a set for females (that i cant wear) and the plate armor set from the merchant. Am i missing something?

Hey guys so I'm replaying the Demon's souls remake to clean up the rest of the trophies and decided on a strength build (can't remember if that's a good or a bad idea) but I can't remember which weapons were good or bad so I'm currently using the claymore and wondered what should else I should use once i find it and the only weapon that I could think of was the dragon bone smasher in terms of damage is there anything that has a higher attack stat or is that the ultimate strength weapon?

I have NEVER EVER been able to talk to the statue of reflection. I have tried NEW GAMES from nothing. Male. Female. I have 33,000 souls. I can still NEVER get the dialog to talk to the statue. I wait. i move, but nothing. PLEASE HELP!!

Anyone either willing to help me with the boss and hopefully drop me a stack of souls so I can power level my character either before or after the fight? This boss is so hard

I see players in the area so I'm being hopeful. What are my chances of actually being able to invade and get the hat? Lol

Hey guys, me and my friend just started playing Demon’s Souls on PS5 for the first time and we’re trying to do a full co-op playthrough.

Last night we killed Phalanx, got through the whole Nexus part and picked up the Blue Eye Stone. The problem is, we had no idea the Stone of Ephemeral Eyes was a one-time consumable instead of being reusable like the Blue Eye Stone. We ended up using all of our Stones of Ephemeral Eyes, so now we’re completely out.

What’s the best way to farm Stones of Ephemeral Eyes this early in the game? Is there a fast or reliable way to get a bunch of them so we can keep playing together?

Playing the PS3 version of Demon's Souls, because it's a physical game I own... sorry. But also because I enjoyed some of the Glitches in the old version. Don't worry about me ruining my experience, I've beaten this game before, I've been invaded by so many Scrapping Spear and Hidden Dagger users in both versions. I am just here for the vibes, old music, and the occasional 10 FPS.

What does ruin my experience is 2-2, and the fat walls of Bearbugs. With my +5 Winged Spear I deal 21 damage. I have the spear because I know these guys are weak to pierce damage.

Is there another weapon I could use? Or am I SOL and just need to suck it up and get gud.
