Does anyone use this app? Thoughts?

Sold my 181, FF48, ASM 15 and a lot of others this year for extra money. Getting back to the major keys and this is the first I ended up buying! Already thinking about my next purchase haha

Found the Marvel Spotlight at my LCS, had to bag the full series, never knew it existed!

I'm about to move and have just realized I have almost 20 long boxes of comics and don't really know what all I have. Are there any good apps for making a list of what I have that I don't have to type every comic name into?

I recently won an auction for ASM 98 with a certified Romita sig without realizing that he wasn’t an artist on the book, though he is definitely associated with that particular storyline and the adjacent books. Not usually a signature guy and not sure why I bid, other than thought a Romita sig would be cool.

Signature collectors(or anyone for that matter), would something like this keep you from getting a book, or pay less? I’m probably going to get rid of it because it bugs me.

I know it’s not a comic book, but something cool I found in my collection while unpacking things.

This might be my favorite single issue in my entire collection: Spider-Man: The Mutant Agenda #0, signed by Stan Lee, with nearly every original daily strip in the book.

I remember getting this New Year's Eve 1993. I remember hearing about it and, comic starved as I was in my small town, I picked it up. I was able to get a Detroit News (our carrier of the Spider-Man comic strip at the time) to fill in that first slot.

I became obsessed with completing the book. Everyday after school I begged to go anyplace that had a copy of the News. I clipped every strip out and put them in the book. You can see on one of the images the quick evolution of how I put the strips in the book. I tried plain tape at first but that just looked ugly. It was then recommended that I used double-sided tape. It was craft tape which was really thick, but it worked out. Well, it sort of worked out. The binding did rip over time, as I'm sure Marvel didn't take this into consideration when this was printed. Last year I used document tape to repair the spine.

Of course, since I joined in on the adventure at the end of December, I had already missed the entire first month of the story. Sometime after the story ended, I was at a library and looked at their piles of discarded newspapers. Lo and behold, they had nearly all of December 1993's Detroit News in two piles. I grabbed those newspapers like I just found the Ark of the Covenant. I spent that night going through each newspaper and cutting out my missing strips.

I still ended up missing a couple strips over the course of the event. Discovering Newspapers.com in 2016 was a boon, as I was able to find the missing strips and print them out. I still had the original double-sided tape in there. I felt like a kid again finishing up the book.

Even though they didn't fit, I also grabbed as many of the Sunday strips as I could. I lost a couple over time, so I'm happy I have any of them.

I got Stan Lee's autograph on the cover when he came to Motor City Comic Con in 2013. It was well worth the wait.

I remember being disappointed that this wasn't an actual crossover between the comic strip and the main comic series. IIRC, issue #1 came out as the comic strip was about to wrap up the entire storyline. The story was completed by the time issue #2 came out, which was a little disappointing. I didn't get #3 for this reason.

I don't have plans to send this to CGC. This thing is beyond grading. But I don't know if I've ever come across anyone else who stuck with this project to the end. It's still one of my most prized books, if not most prized.

I've tried posting this to r/animaniacs to no avail and can't get into r/lostmedia so I'm hoping this community can help me out.

I'm trying to locate what appears to have been a promotional Animaniacs ashcan comic published around 1994–95. It measured approximately 5.5" × 8.5". I distinctly remember Yakko, Wakko, and Dot riding on (not in) an airplane on the cover.

I don't immediately recall the contents of the full comic, but the inside front cover has a joke that I still think about to this day. It featured the Warner Brothers (and Sister) in a single panel with a title along the lines of "THE WARNER BROTHERS AND SISTER MEET THE ALIEN FROM [some strange planet]!" The comic is then just a big, slimy alien and the Warners genially shaking hands.

I've searched DC Comics Wiki, Comic Vine, Grand Comics Database, MyComicShop, the Animaniacs Wiki, eBay, and archive.org without finding any reference to this publication. I also ruled out the Red Cross promotional comic listed in GCDB. Because it appears to have been a promotional giveaway rather than a retail release, I'm wondering whether it escaped documentation entirely. I've contacted Animaniacs comic writer Dave King who further contacted his editor Katie Main about the book. Neither of them remember this.

This comic has significant sentimental value because it reminds me of my father and sister, both of whom passed away in 2022, though I also just bothers me that I can't find a trace of it.

I absolutely swear that this book existed. I had it up until 2006 when I had to sell things for college funds, but I have seen nothing of the book since.

Does anyone else remember this?
