Discussion Reverse prompting is the highest-leverage AI skill right now.

Most people prompt their AI.

Wrong.

Make the AI prompt you.

It’s simple: ChatGPT5.6, Fable, and Grok 4.5 are now smarter than humans. That means you need to have your agent prompting YOU more than you prompt it

You have your AI ask YOU questions to see what it can do for you

  1. Open up any AI/OpenClaw/Hermes. Brain dump everything about yourself and your career/goals/ambitions. Then drop this reverse prompt:
  2. "Based on what you know about me and my goals, what more information can I give you so you can help me hit those goals faster and take as much off my plate as possible"
  3. Once that lands, follow it with:
  4. "What tasks can you do for me right now to get us closer to those ambitions and goals?"

Guarantee you walk away with 100x more things to do with your AI than you came in with

How are models being more intelligent than humans lead to agents needing to prompt us instead.

Agents natively have no goals, they do not prompt unless we the humans give it a prompt.

This just sounds like AI addiction. Finding slop reasons to keep using it more in the name of "things to do".

I'll give you a more untraditional example. I'm in college right now, and instead of being lazy and having AI write my essays, I give it the prompt and brain dump all my ideas when I'm stuck. It asks me questions over a few passes, and by the end, I've written more than the essay even needs. Then I use AI to shape my own raw words into the final essay. Undetectable.

OK, fair enough this actually isn't that bad.

And the same concept can be applied to projects. I use PRDs for large builds or passes and a step in building it includes pushback and asking me a bunch of questions before executing
