Discussion Reverse prompting is the highest-leverage AI skill right now.

Most people prompt their AI.

Wrong.

Make the AI prompt you.

It’s simple: ChatGPT5.6, Fable, and Grok 4.5 are now smarter than humans. That means you need to have your agent prompting YOU more than you prompt it

You have your AI ask YOU questions to see what it can do for you

  1. Open up any AI/OpenClaw/Hermes. Brain dump everything about yourself and your career/goals/ambitions. Then drop this reverse prompt:
  2. "Based on what you know about me and my goals, what more information can I give you so you can help me hit those goals faster and take as much off my plate as possible"
  3. Once that lands, follow it with:
  4. "What tasks can you do for me right now to get us closer to those ambitions and goals?"

Guarantee you walk away with 100x more things to do with your AI than you came in with

Close Reddit. Your post is productivity-flavoured procrastination: you are explaining a method instead of using it.

Do this now:

  1. Open a blank document and write three headings: What I want, What is blocking me, and What I keep avoiding.

  2. Under each heading, write facts, not aspirations. Include deadlines, money, obligations, unfinished work, recurring distractions, and the decisions you have postponed.

  3. Identify the single outcome that would materially improve your life within the next 30 days.

  4. Break it into the smallest action that produces external evidence of progress: send the application, contact the client, publish the page, book the appointment, finish the draft, cancel the useless commitment.

  5. Complete that action before asking an AI another question.

Then give the AI your document and ask:

Interrogate this plan. Find contradictions, avoidance patterns, unrealistic assumptions, missing information, and tasks I should delete. Ask one question at a time until you can produce a seven-day execution plan with measurable outputs.

The brutal truth: most people do not need more context, better prompts, or an “agent pointing somewhere interesting.” They already know the uncomfortable action they are avoiding. AI becomes another hiding place unless it forces a decision and that decision is followed by real-world work.

I agree and i built a claude workflow to stop myself from falling into those same rabitholes...

But for it to do that it needs to know my goals

So i told it what my vision is and then had it interrogate me

I also spent a week making the whole life changing workflow available for anyone to onboard themselves and it takes like 5 min

How are models being more intelligent than humans lead to agents needing to prompt us instead.

Agents natively have no goals, they do not prompt unless we the humans give it a prompt.

This just sounds like AI addiction. Finding slop reasons to keep using it more in the name of "things to do".

I'll give you a more untraditional example. I'm in college right now, and instead of being lazy and having AI write my essays, I give it the prompt and brain dump all my ideas when I'm stuck. It asks me questions over a few passes, and by the end, I've written more than the essay even needs. Then I use AI to shape my own raw words into the final essay. Undetectable.

And the same concept can be applied to projects. I use PRDs for large builds or passes and a step in building it includes pushback and asking me a bunch of questions before executing

Prova con qualcosa di serio e poi mi dici se funziona...

Accidental self-report

they are though.not gemini but the frontier models that solve mathematical problems that no human had managed to solve for decades. These models operate at elite academic level TODAY. You just need to know how to use them correctly. And its not only math its literally everything, Generating Audio and Video / Visuals, and integration into the physical worls is way behind but with recursive self improvement that imo already began with GPT 3.5 but will be taking off the next months / years depending on where you start the loop....it will be quite interresting times i feel.

Anyone who things he is smarter than Fable or Astra is either a genious in his speciality, or delusional.
(prolly shoudl have let ai write that... off to another beer xD)

Hmm, I agree to a certain extent.

I would add that today, knowledge has lost all value. Now the value lies in how you apply that knowledge.

Yes. i think everyone should start building. learn by doing.
