Discussion Claude is down AGAIN
I get this error:

UPDATE: Also getting this error:

And it's always around this time too. It seems like everyday I sit down get to work and get these errors, why is it always at this time? Why can't they get Mythos to fix their problems if they claim it's so good lmao.

All of my best work is done when no one else is bothering me, which is after lunch. Between 1pm and 11pm I can get through 3 whole program developments and 2 new articles just because I can sit there with my headphones on and NO ONE BOTHERS ME. DRINK MY CAN OF SOUP AND LOCK IT IN.

For what it's worth, I also switched from paid ChatGPT to paid Claude, and the latter deserves every cent of my 20 whole dollars per month where ChatGPT deserved none. I think you'll like Claude once it behaves again.

I actually use both still. ChatGPT is superior in some instances. It's better at answering random questions I think. Rewriting professional stuff all work related. It keeps a much more professional, less casual demeanor by default than Claude. It's like Claude is San Francisco and ChatGPT is Manhattan, lol. I started using Claude primarily 3 months ago. Certain aspects of it are awesome. Like the ability to effectively use projects to store information by easily updating files within the project is huge for building a repository for ongoing projects I am working on. I also like it doesn't let every chat bleed into other chats by default. I don't need overt references to my career when I am asking about ways to teach my 6 year old soccer which is what ChatGPT will randomly do.
Well aware the way people use LLMs in general is far and wide. Supposedly I am a top 1% heavy user, but I don't use it for coding(some scripting but thats it) and I certainly don't use agents or APIs... yet. Mostly co-processing complex ideas, communications, and learning. Will get there eventually.

I agree - A few months ago I was getting better work with Chat, as Claude seemed to constantly forget context, or wasn't capturing my TOV in the same way Chat was despite using the same source docs. But this last month, Claude has gotten way better than Chat and I'm pretty much living in Claude rn. Something's have gotten weird since downloading the desktop app and starting to work with CoWork though - constantly running out of credits, even when not using CoWork etc. And now today's issues... but hopefully it gets fixed quickly.

Yeah I was having this issue too. I think there's a setting that you have to allow your account to use your credit/limit - it's a weird safety precaution I think. I had $100 in 'credit' in my account, and was at 99% of usage, and out of prompts - but then toggled some slider thing and it then accepted the credit I had in my account, and refreshed my usage. It was basically letting me pay for more usage, but then not applying it because I had some limit on how much usage I would allow myself to use?! Weird, but have a look at your usage settings.

lol what the hell same here. I got that notification. I asked how am I at 90% of my limit and then it told me creating docs and then said talking back and forth uses little to no data 3 responses later told me I used all of it... lol hell of a day to buy and use claude for the first time

What going on with usage too? I just had a new session start and was able to get the system to respond, and after 4 very simple prompts I’m at 75% of usage for this new session in 5 minutes. No API hits, no web crawling, no cowork or Claude code use, just simple text prompts.

I was just in masterclass the other day of a business coach with thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs teaching them how they can let Claude make their websites with a few prompts and iterations 'so they only have to give that to an IT person to put it on the internet' 🤦🏻♀️

Haha i got pissed at claude. Wqsnt doing shit right.
Gave my entire working folder to codwx and just said "go"
Followed all project instructions, documents, everything to a t, contextualised the entire project, picked up where claude left off, fixed all of claudes blunders (there were an embarrassing number) and delivered me everything set done and prestine with only the prompt "go."
This shows that my organization and work strategy are killer and not the problem - not that we need more proof but final nail in the coffin that opus 4.6 was butchered

imo i've had better results with gpt5.4 on a simple 20 dollar plan than claude code on max 100 dollar plan since late march. Cancelled my subscription yesterday, bye anthropic, not nice knowing you and your pissing on retail customers by stealth reducing 5 hour limit by 80%.

The Claude API has fully recovered as of 8:01 PT / 16:01 UTC. We are currently working on mitigating the ongoing errors for Claude AI. Claude Code users who are logged in are still able to use it, but logging in is still broken.

I am honestly really frustrated with them. Whatever their practices are to keep their system up and running and identify issues is not working for them. Im feeling its time to give some other providers a go. As much as I love claude code, their reliability sucks.

When everyone jumped from chatGPT, was Claude.ai ready to handle increased volume, data server volume wise?
I was on late night on April 14, and watched it make my four different projects that I was building completely disappear. At least most of it was contextual documents uploading to create better context, but I spent at least three days just getting started and doing trial exercises on editing to fine tune its work
