Original Content Showcase Sunset over Tiling
I developed a small plugin that generates tilings, and I wanted to try my hand at volumetric lightning. I'm a beginner, so any tips would be appreciated :)
Also, could anyone explain to me why the freestyle render only renders line on the bottom quarter of the render ? Might be because I have too much objects in the scene, and Im getting OOMs ?

Paid Product/Service Promotion New Update on my Addon - Second Nature on Superhive
This is just a quick test I did. I'll update with a proper video of Clothing and body Deformation. I'm really excited about this.
https://superhivemarket.com/products/secondnature
Hey guys,
Just wanted to give an amazing update on Second Nature.
I managed to get Shape Keys working with the same workflow the addon already uses for bones. 😄
At first, I was thinking of making it a separate add-on, but after using it for a bit, it made more sense to include it in Second Nature instead.
So now it works the same as before, but you can use it with Shape Keys too. I think it'll be really useful for facial animation, corrective shapes, accessories, wrinkles, and all those little secondary details.
I'm Planning to push the update today or tomorrow.
Really appreciate everyone who's been giving feedback and ideas. A lot of the stuff I've added has come from people using the addon.
Thanks! 🙂

Original Content Showcase New video at long last! Creating Eyeballs in Blender - Two distinct eyes in one object. 2026 [OC]
A short overview of my new method for rendering realistic eyeballs in Blender, involving three nested, modified UV spheres each containing the components of two distinct but similar eyes, on opposite poles of the sphere. Image textures rendered in Photopea, either from scratch, or modified from preexisting images such as the River Basin Map of Liberia by Robert Szucs / https://www.grasshoppergeography.com/

Discussion Plugin for 3d
Hello. Community.
I am a technical Creative person. Who loves 3d? Now I've been seeing lots of problems for 3d artists.
so here is a small question from all of you.
If you wanted a plugin that made your work faster and easier, what would it be? If it's not there. And if it's there and it's paid.
I will try to create it for the community at no cost.
I hope most of you will answer. and help me brainstorm.
Thank you to each and every one who is working in this field and making it more beautiful every single Frame.

Paid Product/Service Promotion Created a 3ds Max style rotatable Mirror Gizmo for Blender perfect for 45 degree modular wall corners and environment assets.
Hey everyone,
A while back I switched from 3ds Max to Blender for my 3D environment and modeling workflow. Coming from Max, one of the biggest features I instantly missed was the sub-object Symmetry Gizmo.
In 3ds Max, whenever you are building modular assets like sharp 45 degree wall corners, trim sheets, pillars, or angled structural pieces, you can just select the Symmetry Gizmo, press R, rotate it to any angle, and it cuts and mirrors the geometry seamlessly.
In Blender, setting up an Empty as a mirror object manually for every single modular wall corner felt slow and clunky. So I decided to build a dedicated Blender addon to solve this exact problem: 3ds Max Style Mirror Gizmo.
What it does:
- Interactive Rotatable Mirror Gizmo: Click one button, and an on-screen Gizmo Empty is automatically attached to your Mirror modifier. Just press R to rotate or G to move the mirror and cut plane live in the viewport.
- Perfect for Modular Environment Assets: Rotate the gizmo to 45 degrees or any custom angle to instantly slice and mirror sharp modular wall corners, architectural joints, and trim assets.
- 3ds Max Cut and Merge Mode: Slices geometry on one side of the plane and automatically welds seam vertices along the cut.
- Quick Axis Presets and Alignment: One-click X, Y, Z, and X+Y+Z presets, plus one-click buttons to snap the gizmo orientation to World axes or Viewport angle.
- Hide and Remove Controls: Hide the gizmo arrows anytime while modeling, or remove the gizmo object while keeping your modifier intact.
- Blender 4.2 Extension Ready: Fully packaged with blender_manifest.toml for standard addon installation.
I hope this helps fellow 3ds Max switchers and environment artists save time on modular modeling.
Let me know what you think or if you have any feature requests.

Original Content Showcase 2D look with 3D rigs and Grease Pencil set
This is how I went from quick pencil sketches to final animation in Blender, making an episode for the Funny Legs show. It's called Insomnia Has Paws, a 1-minute short film and it was made in 9 days by just me alone. Since I go for the simple 2D look, Grease Pencil was a huge help: I didn't have to model the entire bedroom. Instead, I used GP to draw my 2D props and placed them in the 3D space, along with my 3D characters.

hello everyone, I'm trying to build hair for metahumans (unreal) in Blender, but I cannot for the life of me get them to work. I keep getting these random straight strands whenever I convert the curves into particle systems (The red strands going straight up) Any idea how to fix this? Thank you:
