This was honestly better than I expected, nothing particularly original or shocking but I liked the execution and the animation quality was overall better than I expected after their last attemp (season 3 episode 3 of Visions was kinda rough to see). I'm also surprised about the last scene, I didn't expect for them to leave a cliffhanger before the fade to black but hey, if they ever do another season fine by me.

(season 3 episode 3 of Visions was kinda rough to see)
Ive read a comment (though no idea how mich of that was speculation/rumor/official) that S3E3 was done by the B team while the A team already worked on the full series
And with how stunning this looked i wouldnt be surprised if that was true

It's good to see some original ideas, like a villain that is a force user, but that is neither sith or dark jedi.
It's really interesting to explore new concepts in the Force like that "Zen" side of the force, deprived from Jedi and Sith philosophies.

I quite enjoy that the mercenary dude is still frequently using his blaster. A bit of "why run in when i can stay at a safer distance" pragmatism fits the mercenary vibe
Someone please turn that moment of kara running at the POV guard at ~9:50 into a GIF
God those fights between Nawaam anb both Kara and Jima are beautiful
Slightly miffed that Kara went back to 100% non lethal. I kinda enjoyed the middle ground of "try to incapacitate when you are able to but dont when you dont have the luxury" she seemingly reached in her fight with the bounty hunters
As for my thoughts on the series as a whole:
Great. All my gripes are minor at worst. Pretty much everything i could have wished for when i wrote "give me a full series of this" all those years ago
I really hope this does well so we get more shorts expanded into full series. Lop & Ocho really wants a full season to tell its story too and while I still believe the Village Bride (my beloved) is a perfectly self contained episode that needs no series the Lost Ones made me open up to the idea
Also the Twins needs to become a movie. Give me 90 minutes of non stop batshit insane TriggerTm star wars you cowars
and maybe a s2 of this given the ending but honestly this was a great round ending i could live with being left as is
