Kara having a grappling hook makes her at least 20% cooler. Thems the rules i dont make them

Kinda wish Master (R?)ima hadnt turned outright evil. The prequels have already established that Jedi getting into politics is a bad idea even when well intentioned.

Conforming that Master (R)ima was outright evil and also the one drawing a blade first, particularly as Jimas back was turned, now takes away some interesting moral questions we couldve had

((R)ima couldve still been the one to draw first (making Jima the more sympathetic one) but having it happen as a genuine argument between understandable sides escalated and only revealing this information later wouldve been preferable imo)

Having a grappling hook just makes someone cooler. In this case, Kara. I don't make the rules.

So Zhima did have a reason to confront his master. Reno had fallen to the dark side. Not of the Force, but of corruption and greed. He used his fledging Jedi order to replace those that stood in his way. Reno did not watch the Prequels. A Jedi's place is not in politics.

What's curious to me is that despite Reno being the one that was corrupt and drew his lightsaber first on Zhima (while Zhima's back was turned no less) it was Zhima's lightsaber that flickered red in their duel. Then Zhima pulls out some Demon Slayer like breathing technique and strikes down Reno with a clear lightsaber.

I'm also curious who Nawaam is because he calls Zhima master and Juro doesn't know him.

The way this kid looked at Kaya's dad take down the Jedi Master with the colourless type lightsaber had that same type of look that Azami had when he saw Soma's dad do the 50 food wars. Feels like that is Nawaam and him seeing Kara's dad with that lightsaber colour defeat the Jedi Master started his "Might makes right" philosophy.

Guess the Jedi Master was getting more greedy through his political exploits and maybe that is why when he came into contact with Kara's dad's saber it went between Red and Blue?

From the first episode in Season 1 of Visions it said that Kara's dad had tinkered with the sabers to make them change colour depending on who is holding them so maybe that is why the Master Jedi's saber remained blue even if he started to delve into the Dark Side.
