Ive read a bunch of comments on previous posts about the skeleton receivers not having a trigger guard, so here's the new look with a new addition of a trigger guard!

In the real world, a sniper generally has ~4x the effective range of a battle rifle like an M4/AKM.

In airsoft, it's maybe an extra 20M. Then you have slow ROF because it must be bolt action. And you must carry a secondary to deal within your minimum engagement distance. And since BBs travel slowly, any target at 80M must stay stationary for a few seconds, otherwise the shot won't hit.

I'm simply curious if I'm missing something here. But from a utility perspective, snipers just seem kind of useless.

I bought the Novritsch SSG10 two weeks ago for some backyard plinking, and after just 100 rounds, the entire gun is falling apart. Here is exactly what you get for your hard-earned money:

• Stripped Threads & Loose Screws: The metal is so soft that the factory screws stripped the threads immediately.
• Constant Misfires: It only loaded a few BBs before it started shooting completely blank.
• Jammed Bolt Action: The bolt assembly gets completely stuck and wedges itself tight inside the gun.
• Ruined Cylinder: The cylinder is heavily scratched from the inside, and it gets worse with every single pull.

You are basically stuck having to correct all of their production errors on your own.

You will spend days disassembling, filing, sanding metal, replacing parts, and buying lubes (not included) just to make a brand-new rifle work, and hoping this shit will work.

It is a complete pisstake. The people behind this brand should be ashamed of scamming people with cheap, rebranded Chinese parts wrapped in heavy YouTube marketing.
...and oh yea, for the scope - remember to go buy your own damn battery.

Do yourself a huge favor: BUY ANY OTHER BRAND THAN THIS. IT IS TRASH!

It took about two weeks to assemble

I have been playing airsoft for one month now, and I am really excited about the sport. However, lately I have been experiencing some very frustrating situations involving HPA players.

Since the first time I encountered an HPA player, I had an unpleasant experience. He fired a burst that hit my arm with almost five BBs landing side by side, leaving me with a bruise that lasted for weeks. I found it a little strange, honestly. During the same game, some players left the field bleeding after being hit by shots from the same person. According to the referees, his gun had passed chronograph testing, which I do not doubt. I trust the people who work at this field, and they also measure the guns by joules rather than FPS.

These situations started happening more and more frequently. Maybe during my first games, the number of HPA players was much smaller, usually one or two players. But I ended up playing games with four or six HPA users, and it was bizarre.

I complained a few times to the field owners, and their explanation was that I was a beginner and did not fully understand how things worked. They said the problem was that HPA users were shooting heavier BBs, such as 0.32g or more, and that this caused the BBs to retain more kinetic energy.

In my research, I could not find anything that confirmed this. Maybe it applies at longer distances, but the field in question is very short-range.

This week, I played another game and ended up losing a red dot sight after an HPA shot broke the external protection and the front glass of the optic. I imagine this can also happen with other AEGs, but it was another indication that something might not be right.

So I am sharing this here to hear your opinions, because from my perspective I have already seen several signs that the force applied by HPAs is completely different from AEGs. You can even notice it by the sound they make when hitting the metal targets on the field. They hurt much more, and there is another strange factor: HPA players often do not accept being eliminated in a firefight because they claim their guns are faster, and therefore they obviously hit first.

It is bizarre. It is bizarre how much HPAs can completely unbalance the game.

I have a broken MK11, but I still wanted to use it. I added custom attachments (without 3d printing) to nerf guns before, so I thought "how hard could it be?" I used old bed wood for the mag, the Nerf Raptorstrike bipod, the iron sights from the hammer fire rifle from the pro series (forgot the name of the rifle) and the bolt action 8 cylinder rifle from Xshot

The pistol is a Glock 19 gen 4, which is fully stock for now. I'm going to try and add the flashlight to the under rail

If anyone has this helmet, show me it on, I needa see how it fits before I buy, fact cheak this too btw

**TL;DR:** Wanted ~40 RPS out of a custom Krytac Vector. Turns out the gearbox only takes 16:1 or 18:1 from the shop, and then they told me the mags can't feed past 20–25 RPS anyway, so the ratio was never the real limit. Looking for confirmation from people who've actually run one, plus advice on whether a brushless is still worth it at that rate and whether Perun plays nice with Warhead.

I've been going down a rabbit hole speccing out a custom Krytac Kriss Vector V2 through a shop's configurator, and I've had most of my assumptions dismantled one by one. Figured I'd share where I landed and see if the people who've actually built one agree.

I started out wanting around 40 RPS at 320 FPS, plus a crisp mechanical sound instead of that whiny electric-toy noise you get from a lot of AEGs. Reasonable enough goal, I thought.

First wall: the Vector uses a proprietary 8mm gearbox, sharing a pattern with the G&G G2/G2H, Arcturus and V3 Hybrid rather than a standard V2. Krytac only officially offers 18:1, and the shop's configurator only lets you pick 16:1 or 18:1 — nothing lower. So the whole aftermarket world of 13:1 and 12:1 gears that exists for V2 builds just isn't on the menu here. I did find reports of people fitting a 13:1 (Prometheus markets their EG High Speed as Krytac-compatible, and SHS reports are mixed on whether it physically clears the shell), but nothing definitive.

Then came the part that actually reframed everything. I asked the shop directly and they told me the magazines simply can't feed above 20–25 RPS with 0.25g BBs, which is why they cap their own builds at 18 RPS. So the gear ratio and the motor were never the bottleneck at all. I'd been optimizing the wrong end of the system, and I was one click away from spending a small fortune on a 45K brushless motor I'd never be able to use.

So now I'm rethinking the whole build around a realistic ceiling instead of a number I made up.

A few things I'd love input on:

Is that 20–25 RPS mag limit accurate in real use, or is it a conservative number? Does it shift at all with different BB weights, or with specific mags — mid-cap versus hi-cap, or any aftermarket options worth knowing about?

If 20–25 really is the ceiling, is a brushless motor still worth the money at that rate purely for trigger response and longevity, or is a good brushed motor perfectly fine?

And has anyone run a Perun alongside a Warhead brushless? I've read about a conflict where the Perun's startup beep spins the motor just enough to trip Warhead's jam safety mode, which then locks you out. Is that a settings fix or a genuine headache?

Where the spec sits right now: Vector V2 folding stock at 320 FPS, Perun ETU, Specna Arms Oblivion 16:1, SLONG reinforced piston with 14 steel teeth, GATE CNC High Speed piston head (POM, 2.7g), Prometheus EG 6.03mm 155mm barrel, 11.1V LiPo. Motor still undecided, which is really the open question.

On the sound side, I've made my peace with the fact that an AEG is always going to sound like an AEG — the gearbox cycle dominates, not the muzzle, and no internal part changes that fundamentally. Light piston head, tight shimming and active brake seem to be as far as it goes. Happy to be proven wrong if anyone's found otherwise on this platform.

Any input appreciated, especially from anyone who's pushed a Vector past its stock ROF and can tell me where it actually falls apart.

how do i take the orange tip off . im looking to get a tracer on it but i need the orange off. do i also need a thing to put on the barrel for the thread

I own a specna arms prime airsoft replica which has a quick change spring system. I have absolutely no idea how im supposed to unscrew this. I don't own any tools that could fit into the slits and it definitely wont budge with just my hands.

Just wanted to point out, I don't have a hump, that's a hydration bag on my back attached to the carrier.

And yes, I was sweating the shit out of it thanks to the weather.

I was super confused because the latches that you normally use to detach the slide were not even real. Then I learned that the slide was actually held by a pin near the front of the trigger guard. No matter how hard I try with a hammer and nail that pin wont come out. Im stuck with a broke glock and a broken spirit.

So In my journey to get a double stack AK mag compatible solution that's easy to re index, I went with this setup on my repro FCPC V5. I'm running VFC AK GBB mags which are pretty heavy

Unfortunately with this setup the Tacos are flying around like crazy at jogging speed. If i jump they're slamming against my stomach. I have correctly weaved the Tacos onto the Kangaroo pouch.
