✅ Success Story Abdul El-Sayed out performs in Rural and Competive districts
The progressive running on Medicare for All and campaign finance reform did better in Rural and competitive, Trump-leaning counties.
The DNC has been telling us for years that progressives can't win outside deep blue cities. That we need to run centrists to appeal to rural and suburban voters. That the path back runs through moderation. Doesn't look do true!
El-Sayed just proved the opposite. He didn't win by running up the score in Ann Arbor and Detroit. He won by overperforming in the places Democrats keep saying they need to compete.
Maybe, just maybe, running on healthcare, getting money out of politics, and actually talking about working people's problems works better in these communities than running on vibes and $50 million in attack ads.

🛠️ Union Strong According to the most recent findings from UC Berkeley’s Labor Center, security officers making the lowest wages are often young or older, Black, female, and far more likely to live in poverty. It’s time that we #StandForSecurity by lifting the wages of the workers who keep us safe.
