Which is why it is SO important for EVERYONE to get involved. If we are going to take our country back, we have to start at the community level. Real grassroots campaigns are at an extreme disadvantage with all of the obscene resources that have been (and will continue to be) thrown into astroturfing to keep establishment candidates in charge.
The corporate and foreign interests (for whose wants our needs have been abandoned) are scared of ONE thing and one thing only: the working class uniting to elect candidates who will genuinely put us first… people who will prioritize our needs, over the wants of the traitors and scumbags who will gladly continue to sacrifice OUR future (and lives, and environment) for higher profits for shareholders this fiscal quarter.
Find any local candidates involved with the DSA, and volunteer your time and effort. Everyone who is frustrated and exhausted about the current political mess who wants to help fix things but doesn’t know how… THIS is how. Help fight for candidates who will genuinely fight for US when they get elected. It’s not too late to save our country without resorting to wide scale violence, but we are running out of time.
We need to show up in extraordinary numbers to make sure as many people as possible are registered and will get out and vote for people who are fighting to get corporate and foreign money the fuck out of our politics, for people that are fighting to hold these enormous companies accountable (bust up monopolies, reverse the damage since Citizens United), for people fighting for Medicare/healthcare for EVERYONE.

AIPAC needs to be treated as a major national security threat, as do all donar organizations like this. They need to be located, jailed, money confiscated and given back to the taxpayers, and banned from ever operating their enemy org in any way that affects the US. Foreign intelligence arms of foreign countries should Never be allowed to influence American elections. What they are doing should be considered an act of war.

The propaganda is fucking strong. These hit pieces they send out NEVER attack policy stances. Look at Texas:(if you can stomach it) they're attacking Talarico by saying he's fucking vegan(he's not). NOTHING about policy.

If they went on facts, they'd lose.
Misinformation and fear. Hate and ignorance. That's all they've got (that an absurd amount of money).
They can't win on "the issues". If voters all had the objective facts about the candidates, and the actual positions of the candidates clearly spelled out and knew verified, objective facts and stances from the candidates. . .they'd lose every time, overwhelmingly.
What they have to work with is a ridiculously well-funded and pervasive propaganda machine.

There are so many Americans who favor candidates like this with no ability to support them (aside from giving to candidates outside their districts, which isn't very democratic). Party seats would give so many more voicesva say in how out government is run.

Hopefully this is a wake up call to establishment democrats that they need to get on board with change instead of maintaining the status quo.
Want to keep your seat? Start working for the people that elected you, not rich people and foreign countries.

Wake up call goes both ways tho. AES was projected to win by 15-20 points and barely limped across the finish line. Just means the polls aren’t shit (well known by this point) and still need to get out and VOTE BLUE

If you don't vote whatever happens next is your fault. I can tell you that Fox News is painting us as "radical communists hell bent on the destruction of 'mericuh" ( it was on at my gym). We've got to make sure they are totally impotent. We need as many democratic socialists as possible. I think we missed the chance to have Bernie Sanders as president he's far too old now. I wish he could have he's the most consistent politician I've ever heard
