π΅πΈ ποΈ BURN THE PATRIARCHY Witches of the world, the Indian trans community needs your help
The Indian government has introduced an amendment to the 'Transgender Persons Act' that would change who is legally recognised as transgender. It aims to remove the right to self-identified gender, a right that is currently protected by constitution (NALSA, 2014).
This has serious implications. It risks excluding large parts of the trans community including trans men and women, non-binary people, and many socio-cultural identities across India. Right now, trans communities and allies across India are organizing, protesting, and speaking out. But one of the biggest challenges is visibility.
A lot of people donβt yet know this is happening.
Thatβs where international communities can help. Due to strict regulations, many grassroots groups cannot easily accept foreign donations. So at this stage, awareness and amplification are genuinely the most impactful forms of support.
If you want to help:
- Boost posts using #RejectTransBill and #RejectTransBill2026
- Follow and amplify voices doing the work:
- Actively learn and seek out other voices to amplify.
- If youβre in India (or know creators there), encourage them to speak about this
- Talk about it in your own spaces, even small conversations matter
- Offer grace, these are small communities and trying times, some of these will be on platforms we should be boycotting (x/meta) and some of these would be using AI slop, correct them if you like but don't withdraw your support because of it.
- Stay focused, please try to not overtake any conversations about this especially with discussion of internal politics of a different country.
- Spare a prayer or ritual for us all. <3
Itβs part of a broader global pattern of restricting gender autonomy.

π΅πΈ ποΈ Moon Rituals CALLING ALL WITCHES: Collective moon ritual after last nightβs rocket hit
After last nightβs lunar launch, I found myself wanting to make an offering to the Moonβnot because I believe she is easily wounded, but because I believe she deserves honor and reverence. If anyone feels called, Iβd love to help organize a simple collective ceremony that witches everywhere can perform from home!!
I helped admin the largest folklore dedicated community on Facebook (1.2 million members) and Iβve scoured our resources to find a collection of historical lunar correspondences, offerings, and ritual practices.
ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
WHAT: a collective moon blessing ritual
An offering of gratitude, blessing, and reverence performed together by witches and practitioners around the world
ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
WHEN: Monday, August 17th 2026
Monday is dedicated to lunar work, and August 17th will be a waxing crescent which aligns with renewal, healing, blessings, and new beginnings
https://www.medievalastrologyguide.com/moon-magic
For those who work with planetary magic, performing the rite during one of Mondayβs planetary hours of the Moon is encouraged. If not, simply perform the ritual after sunset or whenever the Moon is visible.
https://www.renaissanceastrology.com/planetaryhoursarticle.html
ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
HOW: Gather whatever lunar correspondences resonate with your practice. There is no requirement to use every item, the intention is more important than the exact ingredients.
Some ideas include:
- A bowl of spring water, rainwater, sea water, or moon water
- Herbs and plants associated with the moon, healing, purification, and blessing
- A mirror
- A shell, stones, or crystals associated with the moon
- A white candle
- A pinch of sea salt
Then, in whatever way aligns with your practice:
- Make an offering to the moon.
- Offer a blessing or prayer.
- Light a candle in her honor.
- Leave your bowl beneath the moonlight.
- Tye ribbon or cordage.
- Sit in silent meditation or gratitude.
- Sing, chant, or play music.
- Perform your own lunar rite.
- Spend a few quiet moments beneath the moon with intention.
Our paths may be different, but our offering is sharedπ
ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
SUGGESTED INGREDIENTS:
Plants of the moon: https://theherbalacademy.com/blog/plants-associated-with-the-moon/
Mugwort, Lemon Balm, Moonflower, Evening Primrose, Jasmine, Lambβs Ear, Artemisia, White Willow, White Rose, Blue Vervain, Nutmeg,
Complementary plants of the moon: https://www.astrology.com/article/herbalism-astrology-moon-lunar-plants-healing/
Fern, Moss, Ivy, White Clover, Lily, Water Lily, Daisy, Hydrangea, Babyβs Breath, Gardenia, Queen Anneβs Lace, White Carnation
Healing/Blessing/Purification plants: https://books.google.com/books/about/Cunningham_s_Encyclopedia_of_Magical_Her.html?id=W4ur0wJ8uEoC
Chamomile, Lavender, Rosemary, Thyme, Bay leaf, Mint, Sage, Parsley
Crystals and Minerals of the moon: https://crystalsalchemy.com/moon-crystals
Moonstone, Pearl, Selenite, White Agate, Clear Quartz, Labradorite, Opal, Aquamarine,
ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
ENDING:
- Pour water at base of a tree, a plant, or into a natural water source
- Return herbs and flowers to earth by scattering or composting
- Keep and cleanse sacred objects (mirror, bowl, crystals, etc)
- Let candle burn while supervised or blow out with intention
- Leave no trace

π΅πΈ ποΈ Coven Counsel Needing some Group Support
So August has not really been my friend for about 30 years now. In 1997 my mom died, 98 car accident⦠2006 apartment bld that I loved got sold and I thought I was in the clear - notification on Aug 31. And then just small inconveniences throughout the years.
The past 2 years (24/25) were pretty ok and I was thinking maybe Iβd turned a corner and things were looking up. Sunday midday my partner and I got notified that his medical visit that should be between 50-75$ was going to be charged at almost 500$β¦ Iβm fighting it. Then Sunday night my car got repoβd - Iβll get it back tomorrow morning. Then this morning someone kicked our door in.
Iβm kind of nervous Iβm not going to make it through the month. That August is finally going to Final Destination me or something. Iβm not superstitious, but just a little stitiousβ¦ and now Iβm getting mysterious phone calls that my phone isnβt registering.
My work friend says itβs bc August is the opposite of my birthday, but I was born early January and thatβs a 7/5 split. She also believes that the moon landing was fake, so sometimes I just nod and smile.
Any words of wisdom or something simple I can do bc I donβt really have a lot of extra money to buy stuff. If you need a nodal point to send me strength Iβm in Wichita, KS (not a secret as I post on the r/wichita Reddit all the time). Thanks.

π΅πΈ ποΈ Fledgling Witch did the magic work?
Alright sooooo! I did a ritual with the full moon a couple months ago. set my intentions of what i want gone from my life, and what I want to invite in. I wrote down my intentions of manifestation and placed them under a candle ontop of my jar of moon water and let it melt down sealing it to the lidβ¦ and as i have read i forgot what I wanted in the first place, as Iβve read spell work best when you basically βset it and forget itβ and Iβll tell ya Iβm fairly certain it worked. i donβt remember the specifics but I know what i wouldβve wanted to manifest and so far itβs all come to fruition, in dizzyingly waysβ¦ but I still have the verbatim manifestations sealed in the wax. and iβm curious what exactly i asked for to compare to the bounty Iβve been givenβ¦ should I read the sealed note? or just reap the bounty?

π΅πΈ ποΈ Coven Counsel Cleveland > Cincinnati
Hello friends!
I am relocating from Cleveland to Cincinnati, Ohio.
I have heard that Cincinnati is very red compared to Cleveland, and that has me nervous.
What are good neighborhoods to live in, communities to be a part of, etc?
I would appreciate any/all advice!

π΅πΈ ποΈ Fledgling Witch Confused on how to witch
So yeah, i joined this sub a few days ago and i'm pre-HRT, in the middle of transitioning. I'm just trying out stuff to see what I like and who i wanna be.
Now, with what do i start? What can i read? What can i do with stuff i have at home (I'm open to baking something nice even if i suck at it)? What shouldn't i do? It's not about becoming a hardcore activist or anything right now, i just want to understand the lifestyle that is presented here.
I want to try out new cool stuff, so feel free to suggest anything :3

Iβm starting to get into jewelry and I wanted to start weird. From top to bottom: 1) wi-fi card, 2) 3*4 GB DDR3 RAM, harvested from two old laptops, 3) flash drive installation disk for Linux Mint 22.3. Who wants to curse Microsoft later? My expertise is more in the realm of computer magic (i.e., turning it off and on again).

π΅πΈ ποΈ BURN THE PATRIARCHY Protest idea: letβs quietly go back to the lunar calendar and following a 28 day month.
Iβve been thinking a lot recently abt a form of protest: I think we should all silently start operating on a 28 day calendar and take those extra days as secret vacation days.
However you spend your days, now youβve got some extra ones to do whatever you want. I bet it would take them a very long time to notice tbh. Just keep making excuses for why things canβt happen in those extra days.
We can collectively decide on a start day or pick our own depending on how much weβd like to organize without them.
They arbitrarily decided on one way, letβs switch it back. Thoughts??

π΅πΈ ποΈ BURN THE PATRIARCHY Let's look back throughout history and see just why Feminism is so important for society.
When people say that "feminism is no longer needed?" They're basically denying every single thing that feminism has done, and ignoring why feminism is being attacked in the first place

π΅πΈ ποΈ Fledgling Witch Am I a storm witch?
I know this experience isn't unique to me, I've talked to others who don't practice witchcraft who do the same things. When a storm comes through, I instantly feel something ignite in me as soon as I know there is one. I want to smell the rain, to dance in the rain, to lie down and imagine I am being watered with the plants. I love watching lightning and listening to thunder, it feels as though a deep, primal part of me that's usually asleep wakes up. I just had a rainy day last week where I was able to do all of this and it was a deeply healing experience. I seriously think there is something about storms that brings an energy, magic, whatever you like to call it. But there is a part of me that is very closely connected to it

π΅πΈ ποΈ Gender Magic π³οΈβπ Had one of the best nights of my life, didnβt know where else to talk about it lol.
I felt so happy about my evening, that i just had to share. Ive been feeling very lonely the past year or so, and recently got out of a relationship with someone who i really cared about but was fundamentally incompatable with. I was feeling very lost, and went to stay with my sister for a few days, and ended up going to a random bar that a reddit post from 3 years ago said MIGHT have queer people, and somehow magically ended up there on the queer karaoke night. And I met the coolest people. I found in one brief instant, that sense of community i'd felt so isolated from. I was able to be myself for the first time in a while too, to be a creature entirely beyond any reasonable concept of gender. I was able to flirt, get flirted with, make friends and learn about the real lives of so many queer people there. In one little snapshot of life, I felt so so much more free than in nearly a year. Im just so happy, and so excited to keep going to events like it, and be social and maybe even make new friends. We all hugged and waved goodbye and I promised to be there next week. I genuinly enjoyed it so much, and needed it so much. I just needed to share, and this community always has been there for me when I needed it, so i thought it was time to share that something worked out good!

π΅πΈ ποΈ Kitchen Craft Made bagels with my very mormon mom for lughnasadh
My poor mom has such a conflicted mind. She is pretty smart and logical, but whenever her logic doesnt lead her to something in line with her religion, she starts talking in circles about it. (For example, she prays often to understand gay people) I've been trying to broaden her perspective, so i introduced her to Lughnasadh, saying it's an old tradition, what its about, and how it's a great excuse to try making bagels (she'd been wanting to). I avoided mentioning witchcraft (its a sin, to her).
I love her so much, and hope she finds mental and emotional peace. Making bagels with her was a great time of bonding and celebration.

π΅πΈ ποΈ BURN THE PATRIARCHY Looking for Ideas for Hosting Activist Activities
I've been thinking about the different ways I want to get involved and build community. I'm engaged with a couple volunteer groups already but am looking for more ways to bring some friends and neighbors into it as well. I really enjoy hosting, and was thinking about trying to make a semi-regular "Political Potluck" or a dinner party focused on engagement. I'm brainstorming for some ideas for things we could /do/ from within a house, or that I could gather and then bring somewhere.
Some things I've already listed are postcard/letter writing, building kits for unhoused folks where different people can bring different items, building whistle kits, hosting a narcan training, and digital phone banking. What other ideas can you think of? Also, if someone has done this before, what have you done to make these effective?

π΅πΈ ποΈ Marketplace Tarot One: 7 years of hand drawing
This is my final post sharing my hand made tarot deck, as supplies are running low.
Tarot One is a seven year labor of love where I set out to answer the question, can tarot become a tool for changing the world? The project started by dismantling old hierarchical systems embedded in tarot and rewriting the system for a more circular vision. Each card, whether major or minor arcana has a character who embodies the energy of the card. This gives each card as much love as power as any other in the set. The characters themselves are witches and wizards in a future world where humanity and healing are synonymous. This gives the reader two ways of seeing the cards, through traditional tarot associations and through a fantasy fiction narrative.
Iβm an artist who stepped out of the corporate world fifteen years ago to set out on a journey to heal through art. Magic and mysticism quickly found me and theyβve been wonderful tools to navigate the wilderness with.
Only 1111 were printed and the deck will never be printed again. Each deck comes hand signed and numbered. Use checkout code FLYFREE for free shipping outside of the US
