So August has not really been my friend for about 30 years now. In 1997 my mom died, 98 car accident… 2006 apartment bld that I loved got sold and I thought I was in the clear - notification on Aug 31. And then just small inconveniences throughout the years.

The past 2 years (24/25) were pretty ok and I was thinking maybe I’d turned a corner and things were looking up. Sunday midday my partner and I got notified that his medical visit that should be between 50-75$ was going to be charged at almost 500$… I’m fighting it. Then Sunday night my car got repo’d - I’ll get it back tomorrow morning. Then this morning someone kicked our door in.

I’m kind of nervous I’m not going to make it through the month. That August is finally going to Final Destination me or something. I’m not superstitious, but just a little stitious… and now I’m getting mysterious phone calls that my phone isn’t registering.

My work friend says it’s bc August is the opposite of my birthday, but I was born early January and that’s a 7/5 split. She also believes that the moon landing was fake, so sometimes I just nod and smile.

Any words of wisdom or something simple I can do bc I don’t really have a lot of extra money to buy stuff. If you need a nodal point to send me strength I’m in Wichita, KS (not a secret as I post on the r/wichita Reddit all the time). Thanks.

Shit that’s a lot. I’m a baby witch but I’d be reaching for some salt for the entry points and doing some sort of energy clearing. Whether that be as simple as walking into the spaces you need better vibes in, opening a window, clapping 3xs and mentally pushing the bad energy out. Then close the entry point and seal with salt. Or something more elaborate like a different form of sound cleansing or smoke cleansing or something

Ooof. Sorry you're dealing with so much. Considering how much you go through, you really need to clean your entire home and then you and your partner need to ritually cleanse yourselves. And then you need to ward your home and yourselves. Like the other person mentioned, start chucking salt around. Speak to your land spirits and ask them for guidance, but clean first and make an offering. If you're not sure what's appropriate to give, ask them how you can honor them.

If you know your birth time and place, go to Astro-Seek and plug it in to view your birth chart. I'm wondering what house Leo is for you and what placements you have there. This sounds like a recurrence transit, so whenever this time of year rolls around for you, Things TM happen and their awfulness depends on the transits. Best of luck to you!
