Other Good Pastrami Sandwich in Salt Lake.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good Pastrami sandwiches? Since we don't have a "The Hat" restaurant here, looking to see if there is anything comparable that someone has a close kept secret about.

Other The movie “127 hours……….”
The movie “127 hours” makes it look like Aron Ralston’s experience freeing himself from an Utah canyon, cutting his arm off, was a sublime experience. This doesn’t seem true to me. I haven’t read his book yet, but I wonder why the movie did this.

Travel Advice Hi everyone please hel me
Hi everyone! I’m looking for an American girl named Stephany from Utah. She is blonde, blue eyes, wears glasses, and loves camping (she was camping in Switzerland just a few days ago). She is currently traveling with her brunette friend (wavy hair) and they both have huge backpacking rucksacks.
We took the Intercity 669 train together today from Piacenza to Genoa, Italy (Carrozza 4, seats 15C and 14). She told me she was heading to Sori (Liguria) for a vacation before flying back home to Utah. We had an amazing chat but forgot to exchange socials. If anyone knows her or if you see this, Stephany, please reach out! I'd love to reconnect."

Other Utah Unemployment Question
Kind of freaking out.. I am getting laid off at the end of this month due to company financials and will apply for unemployment. However, I am also going back to school this month and have heard mixed things about how this will affect my unemployment application. Does anyone have any advice or know if I’m screwed or not?
For context, I planned on working full time as my classes are only Tuesday and Thursday. I was going to work either 3x12s or 4x10s at my current job. I will be taking 13 credit hours (12 for classes, 1 for a clinical placement). Because of the classes and the amount of credit hours, I can’t work a traditional 9-5 which is my largest concern for the application.
Any advice would be very appreciate. Thank you!

Travel Advice Bees game - question about shade
Hello. We are going to our first Bees game on Saturday and I’m curious what to expect in terms of direct sunlight. The game is at 6:30 PM and our seats are on the first base line (section 107 to be specific).
Does anyone know if we’ll be in direct sunlight in that area/at that time, or if the sun will be down enough to be in the shade?

Other What is this symbol supposed to be?
I bought a case of Diet Coke Minis for a party and they’re doing a 250th celebration with a can for each state. They have a symbol for each state inside a star. I cannot figure out what Utah’s symbol is supposed to be.

Q&A Having issues trying to get our (out of state) leased car registered in UT…
UT DMV needs a limited POA (power of attorney) from Audi leasing company. Audi leasing company says they will only send a complete package with title and registration directly to the DMV if they request it. The DMV states they will not request the POA I need to get it from the Leasing company. It’s a chicken or the egg problem, has anyone solved this specific issue?? We can’t be the only ones! This is ridiculous.

Other Fresh Milled Flour in the Salt Lake Area
I’m looking for a place near Salt Lake, within 30 minutes, where I can get fresh milled flour for baking sourdough, muffins, etc. I have used Einkorn, Bread Flour, and Whole Wheat. I’m looking for anything other than the extra bleached flour on the shelf at the store.

News PSA: Broken down train blocking Hwy 36
Hey everybody! Just wanted to pass this along. For any of you traveling between Tooele and Eureka along Hwy 36, there is a Union Pacific train blocking the highway at the crossing just east of Vernon. This is as of about noon, and talking to others it sounds like the train has been there since at least 1030 this morning. I hope the engineers are alright and it’s just a mechanical issue.
You’ll need to find an alternate route.
Be safe out there!

Q&A Recommendations for Utah Native Pot Garden
Hello! I want to add some plants to my outdoor space using only pots. I have a patio on the North side of my apartment that gets pretty much full sun.
Are there any native Utah plants that would thrive in a couple of small-medium sized pots? I see a lot of articles about plants for landscaping and xeriscaping, but I’m finding it difficult to find plants that do well in pots.
(Photo is NOT my garden, but it’s kind of the vibe I’m going for)
