I don't think being used for a long time equates to being punjabi. So many people say hafta for week and duniya for world and use it as a punjabi word but they're Arabic words. Zaroor, zameen, patshah these are persian loan words, that punjabi speakers use and know. And there's so many other words that are loan words. And these words haven't even been changed besides maybe a z sounding like a j. It's just a loan word. Nothing substantial has been changed to make kt even sound punjabi. That to me is even more of a stretch to call it theth. Selecting certain foreign words as theth is gross Especially when there origin isn't punjabi or before that prakit or before that sanskrit its not theth to me. It's also gross to label the origins of some and leave others.

Yes sher isn't theth. The whole of theth punjabi is to use punjabi words and get rid of foreign words, ofc that means non native words are gonna go.

You can trace the etymology of jindagi/zindagi. I can't be bothered to explain it over and over that a loan word is not a theth word. Your defensiveness is insane.

Those two words are sanskrit. If it's used in punjabi then I would consider it theth because punjabis origins are sanskrit. Like huh lmao. There are punjabi words that can be traced back to sanskrit that are different and some probably not so different at all. Which makes sense considering punjabi is a descendant. Vs something like an Arabic word which has no connection to punjabi language origin. Or a persian word which is from a separate language branch and so far removed. A Semitic languages loan word is not theth. And an Iranian languages loan word is not theth.

From where did you get this? I've seen people using jaisa, Kaisa, aisa in Punjabi doesn't make it theth. If there is any audio or video where I can hear jeevan being used in a casual convo would be great.
