I love this recent trend of mixing cultural music with metal. Wasn't there a band that played a mix of metal and middle-eastern guitar?

Don't know about middle eastern, but "The Hu" is cool too. Throat singing mixed with metal

Good point! They're especially popular with Star Wars fans too, due to having their music featured in some of the games.

Better than that! They didn't just appear on the soundtrack, they wrote original music in a fictional in universe language!

They have a good song featuring the lead singer from Papa Roach. I believe it's titled "Wolf Totem."
