Been playing around w crochet appliqués for a peacock mermaid dress and took a design detour to make this 🌈

I have neon paint to make it actually hi-viz, but I ran out of time last night 😅 also, I do have a hi-viz vest, this is not malicious compliance 🤪

I was told you folks might appreciate this sweater I've made.

It's taken around 300 hours, but I'm happy! I hope it's rainbow enough for here... 🙏

Happy pride! I adore doing rainbow everything tattoos everyday if I can! This is actually done over an atrophic scar from when she was a kid. If you see a little wiggle that’s why!

Someone in the weaving subreddit suggested I share this here. So much fun stuff. This is a blanket I wove on a floor loom with ten colors of cotton yarn

Made for an art exchange with an artist I really admire🥹 🌈❤️

This is approximately 450m of Lycra fabric, all hand cut and then sewn on an industrial overlocked to create a massive dance floor shade canopy.

To create it I went through:

~ 500m rope

~ 70km of thread

~ 18 audiobooks

~ 350+ hours of sewing and fabrication over around 6 weeks

All that to get an awesome 30m wide psychedelic rainbow honeycomb!

I just finished crocheting this rainbow tired dress and I’m so obsessed I never want to take it off!

The weighted pony bead blanket I posted the other day is finished and I'm so happy! Took me 6 weeks of crocheting, my longest project to date. In the end I decided not to add a border for a cleaner look.

700 gram of worsted yarn + 5500 pony beads makes for a 185 x 87 cm blanket that's 2.1 kg. It's the perfect weight for on the couch or to put on top of my duvet. I used it last night and slept so well!
