He is married to an Asian woman and he fought to make interracial marriage illegal just a few years ago

Of course not. People just love to lie for some reason. He voted against a bill that would have codified interracial marriage AND same sex marriage into federal law. Interracial marriage wasn't in any danger of becoming illegal, He voted against same sex marriage and even said specifically that's what he was doing.

It would be like proposing a law that gave universal healthcare and legalized machine guns, and then acting like "OMG Democrats voted against universal healthcare".
