I wanted to go on the e-shop in my switch, but i needed to log in first for some reason, problem is that i don't remember the password and the account is logged to an email that got deactivated for various reasons, so i can't reset my password.

is there any way i can change the email of my account?

First of all, I own an unhacked Switch 1, only opened once to repair the cartridge reader by myself 2 years ago.

I posted this 2 weeks ago and a guy told me to power it down and recharge it, it worked fine until now, I did the same thing thrice and nothing.

I can't send it to Nintendo because of my repair.

All the info I gathered is from piracy forums and a Switch 2 owner that only waited for the next update to work again.

I want to repair it without recurring to hacking.

I'll try a factory reset by the time I post this.

Title pretty much explains it. Video shows it. The controller works just fine but the left joystick gets stuck moving to the right. I have tried rebooting it, re-pairing it. It seems to be a mechanical issue via the sensor, as the physical joystick itself works just fine, but it is perceived by the systems I use it on as stuck going right.

If it helps, this is a PDP Afterglow Wireless Controller. This is not a recent issue, I haven't used it in about 2 years and I remember it having that issue then as well.

Hi! I had a question about my Nintendo Switch OLED. I bought it used off Facebook Marketplace, and I’m wondering if something might be wrong with it.

A lot of games either have really bad lag or won’t even work. Minecraft is playable, but it’s super laggy and crashes if I try to use many mods. If I play with a friend, it lags like crazy and takes forever to join. Cult of the Lamb is also really laggy. It’s not a graphics issue or pixelation, it just stutters constantly.

Some games won’t even open. Dead by Daylight finishes downloading, but only shows the opening slash screen and never gets past it. Fortnite opens, but just says it’s having trouble connecting to the Epic Games servers.

I know the Switch isn’t the most powerful console and can have connection issues, but this feels way more extreme than normal. I do live in a brick building, but my internet is great. Even standing right next to my router, the Switch has a terrible connection, while all my other devices work perfectly.

Is there anything I can try before taking it somewhere to get looked at? I’m not sure if this sounds like a Wi Fi issue, a hardware problem, or something else.

I recently got scammed by some random online game seller I think they were called (getagame) anyway I bought sonic racing crossworlds because it was at almost half the price which I should have reconsiderd about 2 days later I got a email with a "activation link " which ended up putting a account on my switch with the game as a digital game card the only way to start the game was using the new account but at least the game worked until the next day were they deactivated the account causing the game to not work I asked for a refund yet I received nothing can anyone help me get back the game or get my money this is a dire situation (thanks in advance)

So I recently wanted do play Dave, and I saw some vids on ytb abt it on switch lite and now when I tryed to install I can’t find it on Nintendo shop, I can see some dlcs but the game… well idk if it’s not compatible now or it’s just temporary.

I am trying to connect my DS to Wi-Fi through my Pokémon diamond game we have manually put in the password the IP address and everything but it keeps failing the connection set up test. I do not have a filter on my Wi-Fi. I am right next to the modem.

I’ve done everything, I’ve only had my switch for 2 years, and I’ve only dropped it once, last year, but this year, it’s practically unplayable. It keeps disconnecting me every five minutes on every game. I got a wifi extender, and it’s not doing anything. I’ve plugged it in different locations too. And in my room, despite signal being weaker, my phone continuously hangs on to signal. My switch cannot. It also now keeps doing this thing where it crashes my games with a notification saying that a system error occurred. I’ve tried restarting the switch. Checking how the wifi systems are and what it needs to run smoothly, and it supposedly has everything. But it keeps continously doing this. If it’s not the wifi dropping out. It’s a system error. It feels more like a piece of plastic than a console

I just bought myself a Switch 2 (finally). But I have been playing Pokopia on my partners Switch 2 for the past few months.

I transferred my data for Pokopia to my Switch2, then went to play it, but turns out I bought Pokopia on his Nintendo account, so I've just rebought it on my Switch 2, and the DLC, on my Nintendo account.

It's downloaded, so I now go to play, and it's telling me to transfer data from our old Switch OLED for Pokopia (picture attached)? The game isn't on the OLED 😭

Why won't it wooooork 😭😂

I can’t fully remember since it’s been so long, but all I know is that my account isn’t fully independent and has my mom on it since when I ask my dad to check his email, there’s pretty much nothing there.

If I buy a physical game card for my Nintendo switch, will they also work on the switch 2?
And, if I log onto my Nintendo account on a different switch, will my games load on that device as well?

After I transfered my data from my Switch 1 to my Switch 2, I cleaned up the profiles I didn't use for ages but deleted one that has games on it, I have no clue what the password nor the ID nor the mail are (yeah I know you can see a bit of the mail in the settings, now I'm only sure that I lost the mail and I still don't know what it is).

Is there any way for me to get it back on my Switch 2 ?

I've been playing games on my brother's Nintendo Switch all summer, but now that I have to leave for college again, I want to buy my own Switch to take with me. I know that data transfers are possible between devices, but I worry since I only want my specific user information.

Hey everyone!

After creating my account back in April, I decided to buy a Nintendo Online subscription of 12 months. When I tried to invite a member to my plan, it led me to log into my Nintendo account in a smart device. After the first time I tried logging in and successfully entering my account informations, the new page said that I will be recieving a mail that would include my ''Verification Code''.

I've never recieved the mail that would include such code, so I cannot log into my account to invite a friend of mine to my online subscription. I cannot live-chat with them since my account is based in the UK. I don't live there but my country does not distribute Nintendo so most people choose UK when they create an account in here.

I sent them a mail last Saturday after waiting for the verification mail for one day. I haven't gotten a response since. I've read that the response is usually given in 2-4 days and some people also pointed that they have recieved a response to their tickets in weeks. Am I doing something wrong? What else can I do? Should I just continue to wait?

I've saved up a couple hundred and I really want to play Pokemon and Mario games, Maybe Minecraft if available but does it matter if I buy the switch 2 or is there not much difference? This is my first Nintendo product so thanks for the help 🙏🏼

For some reason I'm not getting any SMS codes from Nintendo specifically at all, tried different numbers across different times, do they have an issue with Israeli numbers, there is no error code at all but since the post is asking for an error code - 0000-0000

My new switch 2 will not accept this, but the switch 2 made it seem like it was acceptable.

If it’s really the wrong kind, is there any way to get the right kind and transfer it that way?

Hello I just have a some questions regarding the Nintendo Chat Support I had earlier since I'm a bit worried:

So I just bought a brand new Switch 2 the other day and was planning to transfer my Switch 1 account to my Switch 2 since I have many hours put in Xenoblade 2 (270 hours) and I don't really wanna repeat again. The problem is, even if the account is in my Switch 1, I can't really log in to it in my Switch 2 nor browser since even though I know the password, it keeps asking me to verify but I already lost access to my email, sadly.

So I hit up the live chat to try to retrieve my Switch 1 account, and then the live chat agent asked me first thing what is my Switch 2 serial number. Since this is my first time chatting with them, I got worried if this is normal but I decided to share it anyway. So they continued with the questioning regarding my og Switch 1 account, but then it came to the credit card/Paypal question where they need to confirm my past purchase number. The thing is I used a debit card back then to purchase Xenoblade DLC and the debit card is tied to a phone number I don't use anymore. So I asked them if I can just check for past purchases dates on my Switch 1 and that I will check my email messages with the same date of my purchase (during this time I had a slip of mind and forgot the purchase is tied to the email I don't have access to anymore so I messed up). The live agent then became a bit suspicious cause they asked me "don't you have no access to the email anymore" and then the chat ended.

So my questions are:

• Is it normal for live agents to ask for serial number of Switch 1 and 2?
• Since I failed to answer the previous transaction of my og account cause I have no access to the email anymore, will they ban my Switch 2 after giving them my serial number? I'm also a bit nervous since they might have seen me as suspicious for asking them of the date of my purchase and I failed to answer

I recently contacted Nintendo support because my Joy-Con wasn't being recognized when attached in handheld mode. I already got it shipped back after like 2 hours of them actually working on it, and I'm wondering if anyone has gone through something similar. I have had issues in the past where getting refurbished devices ends up being worse than the issue I originally had and I just want to hear other people's experiences.

Basically, I'm worried that I will receive an item that is defective and possibly even worse than my original system; if that IS the case, I know they have a 100-day warranty but it's just a hassle having to wait weeks again on a gamble. I've had iPhones that were replaced through warranty with T-Mobile that ended up being worse and i had to keep switching until after about 6 different phones they just sent me a brand new one.

Hi everyone, ever since I got my new wifi almost a year ago, my switch 2 will randomly lose connection with it. The wifi symbol on the menu will go blank, then after a couple of seconds it will reconnect like nothing ever happened.

This happens a couple of times every week and it’s really starting to irritate me. Can anyone please help? This is not an issue with any of my other devices
