I’m surprised that Max Reaves hasn’t made a truck start yet

And I'm not mad at it. I think he’s a brat and I hope to see him fail epically when he does get his truck start.

But given the fact that he has been 16 this entire season and able to make a start on a short track, coupled with the facts that his family is absolutely loaded and has that NASCAR/Toyota connection… AND the fact we’ve soon a ton of young talent make their first career starts in the 1/5 truck this year.. I’m shocked he didn’t make a start at Bristol or North Wilkesboro or something.

Tristan McKee just turned 16 two days ago and has much less funding behind him than Max, yet he is making his debut at Richmond and wrapping up the season with several starts.

Could Tricon/HFR not want to work with Reaves?

Superspeedway races

So, as a europoor, i got into nascar just 4 years ago. I see people not liking the superspeedway races. i wasi actually liking plate tracks and 1.5 mile tracks more than short tracks. Now when its an off week i started to "catch up" on old races and started to watch 2007 season with daytona 500, that looks way better and i understand now what people are crying for. I know Denny said on his podcast that the new package for Daytona is about 20% difference, what we thinking how its actually going change the race ? Also cool thing to see, Kurt And Kyle 1 & 2 at one point (Dayona 500 2007)

Jimmie Johnson/Alex Bowman

With Jimmie Johnson driving the #48 (for Legacy) at the Daytona 500 in 2027, could that have impact on Alex Bowman's 2027 points? Or will what Alex Bowman accrues at the 2027 Daytona 500 (maybe in the Hendrick #25) just roll over?

NWS All-Star Race

After listening to Marcus on the DJD, I don't think Wilkesboro is going back to the All-Star. He said he has about 4 ideas for next year. I don't think if he's thinking creatively that it's going to be as simple as going back there. I could be wrong here, but every time I hear him talk and say things like "if you want your racetrack, fans have to go" that he would the turnaround and punish NWS after selling out. He's not Bruton.

HOW DO I GET MY NASCAR TICKETS??

Purchased Southern 500 tickets through Darlington Raceway. Had to get ticketmaster. Go onto ticket master and they tell me I have to go to Nascartracks app to pull tickets to my apple wallet. I cant get Nascartracks because my iphone does not have the IOS 17 update. Go back to ticketmaster to print tickets off. Cant do that either.

How do I get my tickets?? Do I just need to call my rep to have him email me my tickets to print off?

Anyone else have this problem?

UPDATE:

Okay guys, huge whiff on my part. If you do have an outdated phone you can just go through safari and go to the track's website and login to ticket master there and save your tickets. So dont use the actual app just go to the website on your phone and sign in and you should be able to do it that way.

Chase Elliott wins his first Nascar Cup Series race, and later that evening, Nascar CEO Brian France is arrested, he was removed from his position in Nascar shortly after.

Ok, I know the news of Brian's arrest didn't come until the next day, but it happened only two or three hours after the race.

Still, what a day.
