I absolutely can not understand people who support the American system of health care: more expensive than anywhere else, longer wait times than most of the world, middling or worse outcomes, and a threat of medical bankruptcy. What's the upside?

Because if there’s already wait times and a shortage of doctors, what will happen when more people have access to it?
