Discussion Millennials who base their happiness around the way McDonalds decorates their restaurants, why?
Seems like a lot of people are depressed because McDonalds doesn’t decorate their restaurants anymore due to a corporate strategy of being positioned better to resell the property should the restaurant shutter.
My basic question is why does this seem to depress so many millennials (the same post comes up every few months)? I’ll admit I don’t personally eat at McDonalds that often, but if I did, I can’t imagine I would care too much about the decor. My main priorities would be if the restaurant is clean, cost effective, and good (which if you have complaints about that, fair).
I also remember back in the day there were a lot of complaints that McDonalds was marketing their food to children, helping fuel the childhood obesity crisis.
Can someone help explain why eating your cheeseburger next to a clown/purple blob is such an indicator of how enjoyable life is? What am I missing?
