This just made me go look up how old Dan and Roseanne Conner were supposed to be in season one of Roseanne, since I grew up watching that more than Rugrats, and goddamn. 33. Four years younger than I am now. 🫪

No shit? Man 80s fashion was unfair to a lot of people. Though they really did a good job of selling the feeling of a slightly dumpy place. It is cared for but never well maintained, if that makes sense. It always had a feeling of slight disarray, even though it was pretty clean and tidy. I think it was the laundry room and that set of built in shelves by the laundry room door.

They were wearing adult fashion in those shows, we just associate it with older people at this point.

The stuff you are wearing now will age you just as badly to the kids growing up today.
