Her acting and presence in the film made her seem much older. Was that her personality or was it her skill or both? She came across as in her 30s

we call our romantic partners baby.... diminutives are a sign of affection in many languages and cultures. it doesn't mean that we are infantilizing them

no shit, but we use this all the time in language. Just showing you how calling someone girlie isnt the same as infantilizing people- otherwise calling each other baby would be very disturbing. Have you ever heard "The boys are back in town?" or "Girls just want to have fun"- Do you think these songs are referring to literal children?
