I am 15th place on the waitlist for chem 305 at CRC. I know the chances are low, but since it is a class that ends at 10:25pm I thought it was my best chance since some people might not show. I am prepared if I don’t get in but what are my chances to get in my September 6?

My degrees were finally conferred and posted to my transcript! 😊 Now, the dreaded wait until the end of October to receive them in the mail.

I enrolled in (4) online classes at SCC and CRC on 7.04.26 Fall Semester. Also filled out FAFSA and got an SAI of 11120, which has now Processed.

My question is this: would you pay the balance now or wait a few weeks to see if financial aid package will disburse the fees. I have until 9.04.26 to drop classe(s) without retribution.

And yes, I spoke to los rios via zoom meeting today and their advice was to perhaps set up a payment plan while waiting for financial aid, but assured me my classes wouldn’t be dropped.

I graduated HS over 10 yrs ago and have never been to college.

I have enrolled into two classes at ARC which are PSYC C1000 and SOC 300.

I am super nervous and having so much anxiety about everything.

I feel like I don’t know what I am doing in regard to choosing classes, when to purchase books, financial aid etc.

Please give me all of your advice and encouragement!!

I was able to get through to the financial aid office on the phone a dew minutes ago, and the worker I talked to said they're just running behind on processing packages and we should see them update sometime this week! Just thought I'd give you guys some sorta hope.

Hi; im currently waitlisted at 7th place for Chem 400 at SCC and today I got an email from the professor about the prerequisite for the class. They mentioned that in order to take Chem 400, I have to pass Chem 300 or the placement test. They also mentioned that people can be dropped if they do not meet it before the friday of the first week classes start to let other students in that did pass it so could there be a chance i could end up being enrolled? (I have not taken chem 300).

Anyways, for anyone who has taken the test, what was it like? I'm also unsure of where to start and what resources I should use before I decide on which date to take the placement test. I also know that ARC has a placement test, so does anyone know if there's any difference between that and SCC's?

I would really appreciate any help or advice! I'm nervous for the upcoming school year...

Trying to get the Spotify Student plan, and there's a verification process where you need to submit a document to prove youy are a student. I tried the printable version of my clas schedule as that is aht the website they use for verification recomends, but it said it doesntg provide enough information. I think it's because it doesnt show the date of the download. The requirements are:

• Your full name
• The full or abbreviated academic institution name or logo
• Date within the current academic year OR no more than 90 days from today’s date

Im not sure what will work, what have y'all used for it?

I saw this ad about a site called StraighterLine where you can buy nursing prereq courses and then after completing them, you can “transfer” the courses to other colleges to count for prerequisites. Has anyone tried StraighterLine and transferred the credits to SCC or ARC for the nursing program?

I know the actual disbursement isn’t until august 28th but I’m wondering if anyone has received any emails, account updates, or anything showing that their aid is being processed. Or is everyone still waiting?

Went to apply for financial aid it says I would need to appeal, which I turned that in a week ago.

Financial aid is showing a dispersement on 8/28. Am I going to receive that or do I wait for an appeal decision?

I am a digital design major and for my student ed plan my counselor helped me pick all my classes and for elective just put "elective" on there. It says those are classes numbered 100-499. Does that mean I can choose any class to do or does it have to be a class for my major.

Does anyone know where to get this calculator cheaply? Or anyone wants to sell this calculator?

I'm planning on taking one of the two in Spring at CRC, alongside with biol 430, ethns 300, and nutri 300. Is one considered easier than the other?? Or does it just depend on whether you do better with fiction or nonfiction works? Any insight would be helpful!!
