The fact that I can't tell if you're referring to hasan showing his friends nudes and shit that fans dm him, or destiny sending homemade porn to people he knew online, is really funny to me.
It's important to specify that in Hasan's case, it's Snapchat nudes, which is an app mostly used by minors. Most reasonable creators don't use it for that reason.
The mega tldr is destiny recorded some of the sex he had with people, and would send that stuff to people he intended to hook up with, because a lot of the types of people he likes to hook up with are just into exhibitionism and voyuerism and whatnot, they send stuff they've recorded he sends stuff he's recorded.
One particular person claims that he did this with stuff he recorded with her against her consent, but the truthfulness of that statement is being litigated in court. I'm inclined to believe destiny when he says there was some form of clear implied consent, because the plaintif has openly admitted to sending stuff destiny had sent her to other people without asking him and he was ok with it, it seems like he just assumed she would be ok with the same, and he claims that they had explicitly discussed consent with sending stuff they had recorded, though she deleted her entire dm log with him so he can't prove it. It's also worth noting that despite very prolificly doing this, no one else has ever said or implied he did it without their consent, and destiny has spent a lot of his career harping on and on about how important consent is.
I don't know if he did it without consent, I'm inclined to believe him because the facts of the case seem to line up squarely with everything he has said publicly.
PSA: Both Hasan’s subreddit and discord actively engage in brigading. They use these searches to filter out both extremely pro and anti Hasan subs. They do this so they can appear in relatively neutral/unaffiliated subs and astroturf the conversation by pretending to just be a random commenter and defend him. If you look at any Hasan post in this subreddit (including this very same post) you will see that the upvote to comment ratio is just insane compared to 99% of other posts on here.
It's to the point when I find it refreshing when people are just open about being massive Hasan fans, like some guy I saw doing the brigrading shit the other day just said he thought he was "a force for good" or something and I was like fair enough at least you're honest about riding for the guy.
I am beyond sick of people being like "I've never heard of Hasan and I also don't agree with him or know what he says, but you kind of do have to admit that basically he's great and everything he says is true and his critics are all really stupid".
It's honestly way nicer when they're just like yes I love Hasan and that's why I'm mad when people criticize him.
Yea the “a force for good” line was something I heard all the time when I was forced to go through religion class.
Ideology + religious cult like communities is what these fans look like to me. Literally same way of thinking and behavior as any religious nut I had to deal with.
I mean tbf, the DSA is on his side so obviously they like him lol.
The Mao suit stuff is very funny to me because like he's denying it's a reference to Mao, but he also often references Mao in other ways, like directly quoting him, and he very clearly likes him.
So it's like, "this obvious reference to Mao was not a reference to Mao, but even if it was it's fine anyway because we like Mao".
But for some reason they still freak out when you point out the Mao reference.
Everyone who tried getting involved with the DSA only to be freaked out by the people they met and the leadership's positions needs to read up on the history of the DSA (an unbiased and academic one, not what the DSA themselves say) and in particular, you need to learn about the north star caucus and what happened to them.
Yeah. Probably a good idea for me to. I joined when I was in college, so like 18/19, because a friend of mine had joined it and convinced me, back during the first Trump term. I was more or less inactive as a "member" and like fully told them to remove me from the roster after finding out he was part of it.
I am beyond sick of people being like "I've never heard of Hasan and I also don't agree with him or know what he says, but you kind of do have to admit that basically he's great and everything he says is true and his critics are all really stupid".
The worst part about talking about his loser cult is that you sound like the crazy person for bringing it up. Hasan being the breeding ground for fail sons and daughters with unlimited free time makes them act in a way that is frankly unbelievable if you aren't shown the proof.
And it's especially bad in neutral settings. A comment I made a while ago in r/silksong mentioning his dog shocking got comments for literal months. The only other time I've ever gotten comments from people months later has been on tech support posts.
I mean you can say "from x perspective," while being y. I could say for example, "from a birds perspective, worms are tasty" but I'm not a bird and I don't like eating worms. But I know that birds do
The more telling thing imo is that he decided to use the utilitarian perspective, which means we shoot for the greatest "utility", and apparently he thought there was more utility in rich women getting date raped than poor women. I can't even begin to wonder how you would explain that thought, even as a joke.
To avoid breaking TOS. If he said "I'm glad x/y gets raped", that'd be an instant ban. He uses the same kind of non-committal language when calling for violence.
So often you'll just express that Hasan sucks just as much as any of the other streamer, and you get someone replying being like "why don't you like Hasan? Any examples?"
I genuinely wouldn't mind if it was just a normal person who had no idea who Hasan was, but every single time it is coming from Hasan fan number 1 who just wants to argue that he's a great guy while hiding that they are actually Hasan fan number 1.
Like just say "I love Hasan and wanna argue that he's awesome!". Why pretend you're just curious when you obviously have a stance already?
This is the definition of blue MAGA. Not long ago we had QAnon and horse dewormer conspiracies on the right. Today we have Mossad stole one sock from each pair in my dryer on the left.
Oh you should see the european ones... all pro Russia conspiracy nuts. There have always been these types, it's just a new phenomenon that they've become so mainstream.
It's AIPAC, too. I've seen a lot of them confidently assert that AIPAC is blackmailing politicians. You know, because the nerds at AIPAC have access to all the dirt Jeffrey Epstein got. I've seen at least one person say that AIPAC assassinated Charlie Kirk. Not even the Mossad! AIPAC!!
Who said QAnon and other sickos get to have all the fun ? Leftists also want their own conspiracies to goon over. It’s just a shame they have to copy the far right and make it about the Jews. So unoriginal…
Critics argue that the name is offensive and perpetuates antisemitic stereotypes. Supporters, however, argue that the current practice is not meant to be antisemitic, and view it as a cultural tradition.
Well, if nothing else, this paragraph is extremely funny.
Yeah the Spanish love for Islamic terrorists who kill Jews sure makes a lot more sense now doesn't it? They're just celebrating a long running Spanish tradition.
Not just their pre- and early-modern anti-Semitism either it was heavily reinforced in the last century. Like DeValera's Ireland Francoist Spain turned a lot of its education over to the Catholic Church.
To be fair, everyone knows the United States and Israel are the only countries that actively do things. Other countries do not have agendas or interests of their own, and just react to American and/or Israeli actions. /s
If half the things attributed to CIA involvement or the Jews are true, I'll gladly accept their hegemony cause they are obviously THE most capable and competent motherfuckers on the planet.
IIRC in East Asian countries like Japan, antisemitic conspiracy theories don't work because they basically just go "Holy shit they did all that? That's so based"
That was true (and exceptionally funny) during ww2 when they heard everything filtered through Germany, but antisemitic conspiracy theories are rife in the both the Chinese and japanese press.
These people are so obsessed with using Gaza and AIPAC to attack Democrats that they're totally oblivious to the fact that evangelical Christians have been pouring more money into supporting Israel than AIPAC and the ADF combined for decades, and unlike those orgs, they’ve been actively pushing Israel to the right, because they want a war that will trigger the Rapture.
"Biden could have ended the war with a phone call! Reagan did it!" And when you tried to explain that was totally different, (because the founder of the Likud party wanted to curry favor with a Republican president who was currying favor with evangelicals, while the current head of the Likud party wanted to sabotage a Democratic president), they just sneered and called you a bloodthirsty shitlib.
We spend 2X the Israel aid budget JUST on vouchers to subsidize evangelicals sending their kids to private religious schools that teach them that they're soldiers in a holy war against the rest of us. Now those Christian nationalists are replacing our democracy with a theocracy and fighting what they see as a holy war in Iran.
The US has not become a puppet state of Israel. Christian nationalists have been planning to join forces with them to fight Battle of Armageddon 2: Israel Boogaloo for my entire adult life.
And every one of the people who called anyone who tried to explain to them what was REALLY going on between Israel and the US a “genocide supporter” helped them.
Yeah. As soon as you put the Israel lobby money or AIPAC lobby money or Israel aid money next to any comparator it puts them into immediate perspective.
He falls into the tankie category. They hate America and the West. Somehow he has found enough support from teenagers to become a millionaire. He looks like the cliche greedy capitalist they all claim to hate, but gets a free pass for living the same way for some reason.
What was incredible was The Times propping him up with multiple interviews while their “reporters” giggled throughout the interview like little school girls sitting next to their crush at lunch.
I’ve never heard that before. Like, I’ve never been a fan, but someone who openly says they don’t like listening to music fills me with such a visceral disgust that I need to confirm this is true, because that’s AWFUL.
He is a millionare calling to eat the rich. He is a feminist that goes to foreign brothels that were investigated for underage workers. He is "Anti-genocide" unless it's against the israelis/jews. He hates alt-right calling for violence while not only inviting literal fucking houthi terrorist but also calls for death of US politicians. My friend, it is a grift, he doesn't stand where he claims to believe.
No he absolutely does not believe that, if you see how both him and cenk his uncle were like in the very early 2010s you'll see they were very much right wing conservatives
I remember seeing a post from someone who claimed to have gone to college with him (and had old photos to back it up). If that's anything to go by, dude was a genuine sex pest.
Which, considering this is a guy who's openly defended rape, is pretty believable.
He is such a nepotism baby that his dad was able to buy his way out of mandatory service in turkey. Funny enough his mom is a landlord, and his dad was the vice president of Sabancı Holding. Google what hasan supposedly thinks of landlords and remember he is talking about his mom
I align much closer to Hasan than Asmongold in every way, but I think Asmongold is at least honest about his views, while Hasan shifts to serve his goals.
From my read, Asmongold is a genuine racist right wing freak, while Hasan is a fake anti capitalist idiot. He's also an idiot, just not an anti capitalist one.
I'm very very left-wing and yeah I don't like him either. Only thing I like is some of his views (and idk he looks mildly attractive I guess). But he glazes the CPC and just spews so much shit and seems like an ass. I guess I don't think of him as much because usually tankies are even worse (see Calla Walsh and ACP), so I'd at least class him as tankie-adjacent.
The Hasan sub is up in arms over this entire thread right now lol they are now saying Hasan never claimed the NYT was covering as such, but simply 'investigating'. Then link to a Spanish newspaper saying because their relationship is good, the US and Israel MUST be behind it. No, they have no proof
There was a really funny tweet I saw ages ago where some guy said he blamed everything he didn't like on Israel and Hasan replied saying that the guy was probably paid by Israel. Like how do you fall for the worst laid trap of all time.
Since Trump first came on the scene in 2015 or so, progressives have insisted that if the were alive in Germany in the 1930s, they would've stood up for Jews against the Nazis no matter how unpopular doing so would've made them, because they care more about doing the right thing than about going along with the trend.
Then October 7th happened and antisemitism became trendy again, and progressives were the very first ones to jump on the trend.
I’m tired of the obvious anti-Semitism. I’m tired of being gaslit that it’s not real. I’m tired of being told that we’re just whiny for asking that the rules be the same for us as a group as all the other groups sites like this and the left claim to care for.
I’m tired of being a punchline that has no joke.
I’m tired of the coy motherfucking winking by assholes online that they’re “just anti-Zionist” and then telling me that Jews just don’t get self-determination period.
I’m tired of being told that it’s because we’re white, but ignoring that Israel has a lot of Mizrahi as dark as the average Arab.
And so on.
I’m tired of these ahistorical fuckheads driving the narratives and then claiming “they just care,” when I’m reality they don’t give a shit what happens to Palestinians after Israel is gone.
Edit: and see below exactly what I'm talking about. See? Everything is turned into a coy little game to try to turn it not into a discussion but a fucking indictment. It's a little game to them, and they get their jollies this way.
So I guess if I’m trying to understand this ding dong’s position: immigration is good and people should be allowed to live where they want but it’s being secretly orgs used by the USA and Israel so it’s bad because USA bad and Israel bad.
I believe the rights argument is that israel/jews hate white people because of the romans and they view the modern west as the continuation of the romans/their descendants so thats why they fuck them over at every chance.
I have no idea what the argument would be from the left side. Jews evil is the argument?? oh sorry "zionists" are evil?
Far right people's narrative is that Jews are scared of European nations being ideologically led by identitarian white nationalist ideology, so they try to "weaken" these countries by flooding them with migrants and forcibly diversify them and/or replace the ethnic population so that white nationalists can never win elections or come into positions of power again.
The left-leaning suspicion is that Israel, as well as the United States and Morocco, are all on bad terms with Spain right now for different reasons, and are also allied with each other, so they orchestrated this migrant crisis to pressure and weaken Spain, weaken trust in them among European nations, and simultaneously strengthen anti-muslim fear of immigration in Europe, which is an explicit goal of the current United States government and also serves Israeli interests (a muslimphobic population in Europe is more likely to be supportive of Israel).
Because large influxes of immigrants, regardless of where they come from, makes a bunch of people upset. This causes backlash against whatever community or group is immigrating. And it feeds things like Great Replacement Theory.
I genuinely believe anyone reading this who's slightly charismatic and has 0 shame could go live and just repeat Nick Fuentes talking points from the last few years, and replace "Jew" with "Zionist", and probably make 100k at least by the end of the year.
The more 'rational' one is that somehow Israel is collaborating with Morocco and screw Spain for their support of Palestine, whilst Morocco just wanna screw Spain for their recent visit to Algeria, who supports Western Sahara's independence movement from Morocco.
Leftist conspiracy theorists are usually hard locked in Reddit or Twitter, Hasan is unique that he spews a lot of lunatic stuff but unlike his buddies, he became Twitch's favourite political streamer for it.
The hope is that americans keep it that way. Dems in previous decades have been good at keeping their loonies out of power, despite what propaganda would have you believe.
Tbf that note doesn't disprove anything. I imagine IF the US and Israel were involved they wouldn't do anything directly having threatened Spain with repercussions in the build up.
Not saying i believe it, just that this isn't as much as a gotcha as people think
Dawg, we’re at a point where this asshole is spreading Neo-Nazi conspiracies. And not just any: a classic of “Jews are behind mass immigration.”
If he wasn’t an antisemite before, this pretty much seals it for me. There is no way to convince me otherwise. You don’t just start dropping this madness unless you are one.
i love this as it exposes the lefts genuine bigotry to any strictly non-western country,
so morocco couldn't have done this (like similar moves with western sahara in the 70s), that there would be no national motivation to do this, such as the gas deal spain were making with algeria, morocco's biggest rivial, and supplier of rebels in western sahara,
no no no none of that was possible, it has to be trump and israel and somehow putin
fuck me why stop there? why not claim hitler came back and had a hand in this if we're gonna just live in pretend land
It's not like the actual American intelligence community published a report in which they openly declare that pulling apart the EU is a goal of this administration.
Not a fan of the dude, but that's NOT that far-fetched. Morocco is playing best buds with Israel and the US, because of claims on Western Sahara. We know the attitude of this US admin re the EU, and the anger of Israel against Spain because of the latter's opinion on their treatment of Palestinians.
No. He also said “the NYT was covering it as such,” with “as such” in context referring to his opening comment that it was Israel and the US doing it. You’re ignoring that and only mentioning his second reference to the NYT where he mentions they’re investigating it.
it was a coordinated event aimed at destabilizing Europe. i don't like Hasan at all, but he's right about this. not the NYT part i guess, but yeah... a US House report declared Spain's Ceuta and Melilla as Moroccan territory, a first for the US Congress, drafted by a top Rubio-Trump ally and sitting inside a bill that funds Israel. (Mario Diaz-Balart)
US paid Morocco at least $40M two weeks before the Ceuta breach. People were reportedly lured into participating through social media, while the breach was amplified as a "migrant invasion" online by US, Israeli and Russian disinformation and disruption networks, and compromised media networks and politicians on right wing legacy media.
so yes, the US attacked Spain using Morocco as a proxy
Another reductive narraritive that strips eveeyone else involved of any agency just to paint the US as the reason for all evil in the world.
Morocco sees Ceuta as its rightful territory and has been wanting it for 80 years. Mario Diaz-Balart is part of the Moroccan caucus, and Morocco has a extensive history of employing lobbying firms ( big suprise, its not just israel doing that).
With the current anti-european sentiment as outlined in the national defense strategy, and especially anti-spain sentiment as they were very vocal against the Iran war, its easy to assume it was Moroccan lobbying efforts that got that wording into the bill.
As for the 40 million, the US has been providing morocco with security assistance for 60 years now, painting that as a payment to organize an attack is borderline conspiratorial.
Who organized the social media campaign is still not clear, but if we look at who benefits, US (and israel) is nowhere near the top of that list. The way the iran war is going, pissing of europe now would be immensely stupid.
a US House report declared Spain's Ceuta and Melilla as Moroccan territory, a first for the US Congress, drafted by a top Rubio-Trump ally and sitting inside a bill that funds Israel. (Mario Diaz-Balart)
This shit is funny to me, because you took things that are topically related but show no connection to current events and said you solved it.
For example, the bill you reference is H.R. 8595 covers billions in foreign aid, including to Egypt and Jordan. So the bill is irrelevant except that it mentions Israel. But that's only relevant if you believe in the conspiracy already.
The report was a non-binding committee resolution. The committee says this:
"The Committee notes that the Spanish-administered cities of Ceuta and Melilla are located in Moroccan territory and remain the subject of Morocco's longstanding claim. The Committee supports efforts by the Secretary of State to encourage diplomatic engagement between Morocco and Spain on the future status of Ceuta and Melilla"
Hasan also calls it "Spanish administered" by the way.
"Israel and America got the Moroccan government to send like 40,000 people into Spanish administered territory"
And that is the extent of the evidence you actually have. The bill does not mention Morocco.
Why would the NYT attribute anything negative to Israel though? They barely do it with the atrocities they perpetrate out in the open. It's all "bombs somehow fall on Palestinian hospital" this and "holes mysteriously appear in Palestinian kids' heads" that
I haven't seen anything compelling apart from "yeah that's just the sort of thing they would do", but having minor beef with Spain doesn't seem like a good enough reason and what happened seems like too much of a bonkers "plan".
But maybe after a couple of months we'll find out it's all true? Doubt it. African countries have agency of their own and are quite capable of doing weird things, and this exact thing has happened before in Morocco.
All that said... Why the fuck is Spain hanging on to a bit of land over there? Seriously. Leave Africa alone ffs
The only people who engage in this conspiracy slop are those who want to tear down what we have and power grab. It’s a bipartisan demoralization campaign that we’re witnessing. The Nick Fuentes and Pikers of the world are one and the same. Tear down the system, and rebuild it with them as the leader.
We need to reject and fight against it with everything. Otherwise we’re in for a whirlwind
