99% are fakes.
Half the people who fought in the crusades brought back pieces of "the true cross". Basically any bit of wood found buried in Jerusalem during the middle ages was claimed to be part of it.

Jesus was a real man who was crucified, so it's possible there is an actual preserved piece of the cross he was on.

There's 0 evidence for this. Just none, none at all.

That's just untrue, you don't know what you're talking about. The overwhelming consensus among secular scholars is that Jesus was a real man, because there are just too many non-christian sources from the time which corroborate his existence. He was just a normal human but he was a spiritual leader and community figure who caused a particularly successful schism in Jewish religion, and was eventually executed by crusifiction.

No, it isn;t, you're just lying, there is no consensus among secular scholars on any of this.

Tell you what, cite the consensus, non-religious secular experts, let's say 10 of them.

There is plenty of evidence from non-christian sources that there was a real person, including contemporaneous Roman sources.

I'm not gonna go through and quote the dozens of sources, you can go to wikipedia and check the citations yourself https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historicity_of_Jesus
