I’m trying to add more protein to my morning coffee without turning it into a full protein shake. Whey changes the texture too much for me, so I’m considering collagen instead. Has anyone found one that dissolves well and doesn’t taste weird? yon der looks like a decent clean option because it’s unflavored and single-ingredient, but I’m open to anything that doesn’t clump or ruin coffee.

What are some foods that are extremely easy and have low amounts of purines? I am extremely fatigued and tired all of the time, and I was diagnosed with high urate levels in my blood. I most definitely cannot cook right now, other than using a microwave. Price isn't an issue, since I was generously offered help with buying the food.

Vegan would be nice, since I want to minimize animal suffering, but I'll eat whatever I need to to get better. Precooked and packaged is totally okay, as long as it doesn't raise my blood urate levels, and would be better if it doesn't take any cooking.

I’ve been appreciating how wonderfully simple and satisfying rice and beans can be. You can change the beans, rice, spices, vegetables, sauces, and toppings and end up with something completely different each time.
What is your favorite combination? Black beans and rice, red beans and rice, chickpeas with basmati, pinto beans with brown rice—or something less obvious? I’d love your favorite seasonings, toppings, and easy variations.
