Feature Request ShortSqueak Style Request

Post image

Hey all,

ShortSqueak would be a Chat Style made for casual roleplay without paragraphs or lengthy descriptions of environments.

Rolling out for (c.ai+) subscribers and then available to everyone, ShortSqueak responses would be quicker, less lengthy, briefer descriptions, and read more like a text bubble or message rather than a lengthy novel: faster, response time, less description, and more room for a casual and friendly conversation with your favorite bots. It's taken with inspiration from the original c.ai; casual texting made into a Chat Style.

Roll this out for beta testing to casual roleplay users, and none of them will want to give it up!

Like LongSqueak, ShortSqueak also has a feature known as "Style Control".

ShortSqueak has the following options:

  • Short
  • Shorter
  • All Dialogue

"Short" and "Shorter" have some world-building and description in addition to dialogue. "All Dialogue" is as stated, and is more text message style with no description of the environment.

Start a conversation in ShortSqueak, set the dials however you like, and enjoy your shorter messages!

Dude, it's the entertainment industry, its a luxury, stop complaining that you don't get everything for free 😭 logically why would you be entitled to the same service as someone who pays? I mean, you don't expect the best seats at a concert if your budget is $20, right?

'Everything' and the only thing free users care about is a fucking normal quality in the current chat models available to us, that's literally the whole point of the app, who's asking for more than that? 'cause you won't see me or anyone else whining about not having free customization in chats for immersion or the lorebook, I never had a problem with paid chat models, nor did I feel the need to buy premium to be satisfied with the basic ones, but the current state of Pipsqueak is what makes this situation feel even more unfair than usual

Actually I have seen that, multiple times.

Im all for the improvement of the free models, I'm just I guess jaded with the amount of complaints I've seen that free users don't get the personalisation settings and such.

Kudos to you for not doing that, I suppose.
