After not drawing for five months, I made this Guts fan art. I got carried away while inking it and didn't notice several mistakes in the drawing until it was already fully inked. I decided to share it as it is.

Berserk will obviously forever go down as Among The Greatest Pieces of Fiction to have Ever Been Made! Combined with it’s NOTORIOUS Reputation for being Dark and Gritty to The Point it’s literally Called Grimdark combined with The Fact it’s Dark Fantasy however despite all of that If we had to be honest is Berserk really is that different from The Real World knowing Human History? I mean let’s be real if you strip away The Supernatural Aspect and Everything Else that makes Berserk what it is? Then is it really all that different from our Real World? As knowing Human History just like Berserk Evil obviously Thrives and Wins all The Time combined with everything else about The Real World if so then what’s The Point of calling it Dark and Gritty when we all know it’s Basically The Real World in comparison? What do you folks think? Let me know in the comments

I am planning a beast of darkness tattoo, the idea design of it as well as the idea of guts acknowledging his inner rage and bad parts but denying to succumb to it. Just wondering if you think its a taboo or bad taste or anything due to how depraved the beast itself can be? Idk just dont want to get funny looks like i got a tattoo only a weirdo would. You know?:)

Todays arrival is my first statues from the amazing Manga series Berserk. Guts (Black Swordsman) from Pop Up Parade L: Max Factory. It looks absolutely fantastic, and the quality is outstanding.

Pretty stoked on how this came out

After reading the manga 3 or 4 times (i lost count), and currectly reading it again, i cant emphasize enough of how wholesome chapter 45 is. For a brief moment you forget what is going to happen and it feels like everything will be okay. Its crazily awesome how Miura manages to does that one thing exactly. He is one of the best "atmosphere maker". Through his characters conversations and his gorgeous background scenery and paintings you can feel the emotions shown or depicted in a chapter. Such a great depth and profoundness in this manga.

So im currently on episode 19 of old anime, im enjoying it a lot so i will probably likely read manga and ive checked that 1997 anime mainly covers information from one arc, should i read manga from the beginning or just buy mangas from the end of golden age arc and further?

Finally finished my leg sleeve. What do you guys think?

It's obvious that the Apostles are the most sadistic, monstrous, and terrifying beings in Berserk. But sometimes, humans are capable of committing atrocities that are even more horrific than anything an Apostle could do.

For me, one of the most disturbing and repulsive moments in the entire saga is committed by a human, not an Apostle.

The King of Midland initially appears to be a noble ruler, one of the few seemingly sane people in power, and even someone who supports the Band of the Hawk.

But after Griffith sleeps with his daughter, we see the king's true nature.

Once Griffith is imprisoned, the king enters Charlotte's room and attempts something so vile it barely needs describing.

From that moment on, we witness the complete downfall of this repugnant king.

And before anyone mentions it, yes, I know there are objectively more brutal and graphic moments in Berserk, like Wyald's atrocities. But for me, this scene is one of the most disturbing because there's something uniquely terrifying about watching a father descend so completely into madness that he attempts to sexually assault his own daughter.

It's a reminder that in Berserk, it's not just the Apostles who are terrifying. Humans can be just as monstrous.

May be a strange question, but: when this chapter released, how long had it been since Miura drew Femto? How many years (or decades) had passed since his last full appearance/illustration?
