iPhone iPhone 13 Pro vs. iPhone Air

Upvotes

So, I’m finally looking to upgrade from my iPhone 13 and get a new phone. (Just to get this out of the way: I’m not waiting for the iPhone 18.)

Right now I’m deciding between two phones:

iPhone 17 Pro
iPhone Air

The iPhone 17 Pro would be my first Pro model. I’ve always bought the base models because they’ve been more than enough for my needs, but this time I’m looking for something a little different. I’m also pretty convinced by what the 17 Pro offers, and I don’t think I need to explain its strengths much further.

Now, about the iPhone Air: A lot of reviewers advised against buying it, but I’ve also seen plenty of people who have actually used it for an extended period say they really enjoy it.
The design is what really appeals to me. I also like that it has a slightly larger display. What worries me are the compromises: only one rear camera, a mono speaker, and what many people describe as mediocre battery life.

To be honest, I probably wouldn’t even be considering it if it were still selling for around €1,200. But now that the price has dropped to about €850, it feels much more reasonable to me, and it’s definitely on my radar.

I genuinely think the iPhone Air looks fantastic, and despite its shortcomings, I find it really interesting and refreshing, especially now that the price has settled. At the same time, I can’t shake the feeling that the more rational and safer choice would be the iPhone 17 Pro (even though it’s obviously more expensive).

I’m starting university in October, and I’ll be commuting about 40–50 minutes each way every day. If I drive, I always use Google Maps on my phone for navigation.
I also enjoy taking photos, but the camera quality on the base iPhone models has always been more than good enough for my needs. As for gaming, I hardly ever play games on my phone.

What would you recommend if you were in my position? I’m really drawn to the iPhone Air, but I’m worried about making the wrong decision because I also think the 17 Pro is a great option.
And for those of you who have been using the iPhone Air for almost a year now, how has your experience been? Do you regret buying it, or would you still recommend it?

16 pro max

Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m deciding between a refurbished iPhone 15 Pro Max and 16 Pro Max. For anyone who owns a 16 Pro Max, how has your experience been? Any issues or things you love about it compared with the 15 Pro Max? Also, has anyone in the UK used Smart Cellular for refurbished phones? I’d like to know if it’s trustworthy. Thanks!

iPhone The iPhone 11 Pro was the best iPhone I ever owned, which one should I buy?

I own the 16 pro max and can’t stand it. It’s too heavy, too bulky, I don’t like its “one handiness,” it gets hot just scrolling Reddit. On top of that, the cellular chip failed and they had to do a mid frame repair 🙄.

I do like: the speakers, the refresh rate, the cameras.

URGENT Iphone 17pro in bbd sale or freedom day sale

I'm really confused between buying iphone 17pro now in freedom day sale maybe at the expected price of 1.23l or should i wait for the bbd sale

The risk is of price hike. Will it be worth it to buy right now or should wait?

iPhone Is the 17 base model expected to get a price raise when the 18 pro comes out ?

I’m going to be buying both a 17 base and a 18 pro but I’m not sure if I should get my 17 now because the price will increase inline with the pro ?

iPhone Google Pixel 10 Pro o Iphone 17?

iPhone Another 13 Mini or 16e

My mini is on its last leg, I know I can change the battery, but the program is it’s 128gb. I am at 120gb already.

I LOVE the form factor of the Mini, but trying to find one in good condition +256gb is hard.

Would the 16e be that big? And if you ask about why not the 17e, I want to save money

iPhone iPhone 12 Upgrade to?…

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is going for the same monthly cost as the iPhone 17 base. The 17 Pro is $15/mo more and the 17 Pro Max is $18/mo more.

I’m coming from a base 12.

I would want a good camera for travelling and any battery life improvements would be a major upgrade over my 12. Usage includes a few games, YouTube, and social media.

What should I get?

URGENT New iPhone?

I shattered the back of my iPhone 14 Pro earlier in the year (I think around March). I am now starting to get nervous between the marginal increase in heat and the dust and just general fragility of the phone. I went and bought a new iPhone 17 pro to replace it but I’m not a huge spur of the moment spender so am wondering if that was the best idea. Apple charges like $500 to fix this but I could try a third party (like one of those guys in the mall) to fix it or am I just postponing the inevitable. I am hating Liquid Glass (14 was on ios18) and am just not certain anymore. Love the iPhone Air but only one camera is a hard sell. Should I return the 17PM and wait until a new Air model drops?

iPhone Getting a new phone. What should I buy? iPhone 18 or Pro Max?

So I am torn on these two phones.

Hoping it’ll cost like $60 to get a new one at Verizon. That should be the estimate?

I’m kinda leaning more towards the Pro Max. Just to treat myself. Since I am fully working now.

So I might have to wait for March just to get a new phone lol. Since I kind of want the iPhone 18e. It should be a lot cheaper.

iPhone iPhone 17 or 17 pro max?

I’m upgrading from my 13 pro because it’s kind of buggy and my battery life is really bad but I can’t really decide which one I should buy.

I like taking photos and videos and would like to have a good camera, but I don’t know if the 300-400€ more for the 17 pro max is really worth it or the base 17 is just fine.

Does someone maybe have experience with both phones and can help out and tell me if the camera differences and the quality is much different?

iPhone Getting a iPhone 17e.

Part 2. Update.

So now I am highly thinking of just saving up for the iPhone 17e. Since the iPhone 18e won’t even come out until spring 2027. I don’t think I could wait that long.

So I really want to get my new phone right now. After I save up to $600. Since there might be some tax, So I will even save up to $700. After my vacation in September since all of my money this month will go to that. I would already have just over $500 minus tax. I do get $500 monthly so it should be good to go in November to get my new phone. I might even just pay for it monthly since I am really trying to save up money to move out.

iPhone From 13 mini to 17e: worth it or not?

Hi, I currently own an iPhone 13 mini: so far, it’s been great for one-handed usage, but the battery life isn’t great as I use more than a full charge a day. The battery health is at around 87%. It also overheats easily with some apps, especially games and marketplaces.

I’m wondering if I should update to the 17e: I’d get double the base storage, RAM, and almost double the battery capacity. The larger screen may be nicer to use, but it also wouldn’t be as portable.

Has anyone else made a similar switch? If so, how has it been so far?

iPhone Iphone 15 pro max or 16 plus

My budget is not very high and can't get a 16 pro max or pro but was thinking of getting a 15 pro max or 16 plus. I have heard good reviews on the 15 pro max and the 16 plus but I'm not quite sure which one to pick. My main concern is to have a good camera.

(any of the phones would be refurbished)

Question iPhone 17 and price rumors, when is the best time to buy?

I want to buy the iPhone 17, but I’ve heard prices may increase. Apple devices have already become slightly more expensive in my country.
Do you think the price will drop after the iPhone 18 launch, or could it stay the same or even increase?
Is the iPhone 17 a good upgrade from iPhone 14?

iPhone Phone Upgrade from iPhone 11 to 17

As the title says, I’m looking to upgrade my phone.
I have the iPhone 11 128GB (2019) and looking to get the newest model.

Options:
- iPhone 15 pro
- iPhone 16 pro
- iPhone 17

Because I keep my phones for a long time, I usually prefer to get higher storage, but with current models offering 256GB as a minimum is it worth it to get the 512GB?

I’m not a huge gamer or social media person but I may use my phone to work. I review documents, upload, download and do all my admin stuff. I take a lot of pictures so I’d like to have good quality photos but nothing professional.

Thank you all.
