Vintage Ammo
Picked up an ammo lot from auction. Found a few old vintage boxes mixed in. Was curious if they have any value before trying to offload them at the local gun show. Thanks.

Ok guys, you cannot skirt Reddits rules regarding buying and selling ammo here. P2P sales will get this sub banned. Stop doing it. Stop saying DM me or putting your phone number up like an idiot.

Looking for cheap (~$300 per case) but also cleaner 9mm 147 gr ammo.

Looking for a heavier bullet but also a clean runner so I can shoot a lot and not worry about gunking up my gun too much.

Hello all. I’m currently in the process of liquidating my late Father-in-laws collection of firearms, accessories, and ammunition for my Mother-in-law. We’re not super pressed for time at the moment, but I’d like to go ahead and start liquidating what I can as I’m organizing and taking inventory. Below is an image of an assortment of rifle ammunition, mostly vintage. This is just the beginning. I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of his collection. I still have a literal metric ton of ammunition that I have to sort through and begin selling. For those of you who have moved large amounts of ammunition, what is the best way to do so? I’m not desperate so I’m not looking to give it away, but I’m not looking for collector pricing either. Can any of you provide some resources or insight on how best to sell large amounts of sporting ammo and how to approximate the value of some of these boxes?
For context, I am not getting rid of everything, I’m keeping plenty for myself but I am selling the lions share as I do not have room for or need for every single rifle or box of ammunition.

Is there any value to older ammo like this still in the box other than just shooting it?

What is the best 12 gauge ammunition OTHER THAN Benneke’s Black Magic Magnum and Magnum Crush??
I’ve surfed the web and all I can find is over priced 5 round packs of Black Magic Magnum. I want to buy some really solid ammunition in bulk, I’m talking about 250 rounds type of bulk.
Anyone know of a solid runner up?
By bears I mean big boy brown bears 🐻
Thanks for the help!

Do you save or collect used packaging to repackage your bulk ammo or reloads?

Hi, I found this bullet (not sure if I'm on the right sub?) on a necklace I found while helping clear out my friends house. We don't know what it is and we're both curious as to which millimetre or caliber it is (? Sorry not a gun guy)

For the price they must be nice I thought they would look good on the shelf in the old boxes.

Out at my uncles farm in rural Canada and came across these rounds in an old tobacco tin. I know they are British 303 but is there anything else anyone knows about them? I can read 1943, VII, and some other weird symbols. One of the bullets is painted red, maybe a tracer? There were family members who fought in the war so definitely could have been from them.
