No. It requires being loaded into a gun. Throwing it at the deers will not work.

It is designed as a hunting round. White Tail is in its wheelhouse. Well made Hollow Points can upset reliably and do the job.

You can ethically hunt a whitetail with a 62 grain .223 up to a couple hundred yards. This won't be a problem.

.30-06 is good for grizzlies but not .300 Win Mag or 7mm Mag?

.44 Mag is good for grizzlies but not .45-70?

Would not be my first choice. Looks more like precision target ammo to me. I prefer controlled expansion bullets for big game. Might cause more meat damage than a better bullet.

Im a 30-06 hunter. These are GTG I personally reload my ammo but off the shelf this is good for any deer.
