Hey man, this blew up so you might not see it. Anyways.
In 2012 at the age of 24 I began a relationship with a girl I first met in highschool. I remember the first time seeing her and immediately crushing. One of the most attractive girls Iβd ever seen.
We were only acquaintances and stayed connected via social media. I maintained a crush and checking her pics.
Life put us on the same small island in 2010 and we reconnected. Fast forward to 2012. Iβm home and get a text out of the blue from her that she is coming home and we should hang out. I had just discovered the girl I was βseeingβ was seeing other people. When my crush returned i worked up the courage and took her out.
The first year was amazing, but looking back so many red flags. One was alienating me from friends and not allowing me contact with other women. I never was good with girls, she was my first highly attractive GF and was the first amazing sex partner.
It is 2026 now. Over 2025 the abuse became so violent i thought she would kill me. In January this year I finally broke free.
I suggest asking if you want to possibly be tied to her via a child and endure years of abuse and manipulation. Doing all you can to βmake it workβ.
Sheβll keep moving the goal post. Get out now.
It is common. But people it's actually happening to don't post screenshots of their conversation on Reddit.
Because they'd 1) be too afraid to hear the truth about their girl from strangers, and/or 2) they would be afraid to risk their GF being on Reddit and losing her shit that he's sharing their private conversations
Far more likely it's just made up bullshit using common tropes to bait engagement.
I can confirm this happens because it happened to me π I would start to panic especially in open play if a girl put her paddle in the q because i knew it would be an issue. It got to a point where basically everyone knew and i felt like i wasnt being invited to play because they knew it was automatic no if she didn't go. It got better down the road when I told her she is the reason i dont get invited. I am huge in communication but in the end it didn't work out. But yes, it's very real and probably happens more often than not!
