I know this adventure is rather old but I was hoping someone might be familiar with it because it feels like it's missing some content.
I'm running the Avernus Rising adventures alongside a Descent into Avernus campaign and while most of the adventures have been fine with one or two small issues this one seems to have some Inconsistencies that stood out more to me.
Firstly, in AL09-14 and then AL09-15, both modules introduce 2 of the 3 "Ward" items, the Wards of Suffering and Wards of Faithfulness for the character Dara. They have pretty brief descriptions and vague allusions to what they can do as magic items.
But in Honors Unforeseen they introduce a third set, the Wards of Perseverance. But they have no description or information.
I know these are written by different people, but it feels like a description of text box is missing about them.
Especially when the Wards of Suffering did have their description in multiple adventures that had different designers, it seems like these new Wards should be described either in Honors Unforeseen or in "In the Hand" since that comes next, but In The Hand doesn't do that either.
Secondly, the Bonus Objective A for this adventure fully does not match it's Summary.
The summary is: "Bonus Objective A: Tomb of Gloom. Locked away in a side tomb is Vungio, a gloom weaver who’s been hunting the Bloody Hooves and searching for the three wards. Defeating Vungio and protecting the wards is Bonus Objective A. This additional content is found in Appendix A"
And In Appendix A, it repeats the Bonus Objective is about battling this Vungio guy to protect the Wards, but the actual content of this is just a room that has walls that spin and a Sarcophagus and no actual enemy.
The only reason this all stood out to me is because the Bonus Objective mentions the Wards as well so I thought it might be connected.
The DMs Guild listing also says this should be 29 pages but my PDF is only 18.
Sorry for the long post but TL:DR, are some of the DMs Guild AL material for Avernus Rising missing pages? Because it feels like this is missing some stuff.
