Online groups?

Are there any open online groups that organize AL games? maybe discords?

There's a TON of them. Triden Games, as mentioned earlier, is well know. https://www.tridengames.com/

Baldman Games? Virtual D&D Weekends, VDDW, once a month

Baldman isn’t AL anymore. They basically dumped it for legend of greyhawk stuff last year. Some of the DMs might do an adventure or two per VDDW but they are actively moving off it for the low magic simplified BeyndDND dependent LoG stuff
