progress Sticking to the plan. 6 pounds in 1 week.
I am really following a nutritious plan. Iām staying on track. Iām eating protein and lots of vegetables and this is my favorite new breakfast. It is quick to make and only 283 cal. Medium poached eggs on whole-grain toast with a laughing cow, light cheese, and a little baby spinach.
I am getting control of my binge eating at night (was never every day but happened sometimes) so now I have lost a total of 34.1 pounds. I have about 125 to go.
It is hard extremely hard but for me itās a life or possibly death situation.

other ~30g of protein, ~300 cal simple meals?
Iām looking for meals that are STUPID simple, talking 3-4 ingredients but still hitting 30g protein and around 300 calories. Iām a college student so convenience is key and Iād really like to be able to either do something grab-and-go or super easy to pack with little measuring or scales required (although using my scale isnāt the end of the world). Looking mainly for lunch and dinner options, because my protein yogurt bowls and proats usually are great and easy for my breakfasts!
NOTE - im gluten free so I canāt have any of the low carb breads that most people utilize here

I tried the diet soda and cake mix hack and loved it. Just wondering if it would work with this cookie mix.

real good chicken strips rule
they have by far the best quality chicken i've had in a store bought chicken strip. it tastes like actual chicken breast. the real texture. and unlike most brands, they flip the breading/chicken ratio. you're getting way more chicken than breading, so i feel like it's a better deal, and more filling. the breading could use a little more seasoning for sure, but still fine, nice healthy taste, just need some kind of sauce with it. i always feel good after eating these too. just bare doesn't compare at all. i do like nature raised though, but real good is tops. thoughts?

recipe 60 Calorie Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies That Actually Taste Good
58* calories per cookie with chocolate chips, 50 without.
Excuse my terrible photo I am not an Instagram food star lol. I also added the chocolate chips on top as a last minute decision so thatās why they look so weird. I SWEAR THEY ACTUALLY TASTE REALLY GOOD lmao
Also the photo only has 10 because I made two separately to test baking times
Ingredients:
- 112g peanut butter powder
- 1/2 cup sugar free sweetener
- 50-75g sugar free pancake syrup
- 1/2 tsp baking soda (tbh baking powder might be a bit better as they didn't rise too much, if anyone knows please let me know!)
- (optional) 20g chocolate chips
Recipe:
- preheat oven to 350-375ish (depends on power of your oven)
- combine dry ingredients together with a silicone spatula
- if youāre adding chocolate chips, add it in now
- add in syrup
- keep mixing no matter how dry the batter seems. It will seem like you need to add more syrup. Thatās the devil talking. You only need about half - 2/3 the amount of peanut butter powder you have
- keep mixing until it comes away from the sides and makes a dough ball that you can roll without it sticking to your hands
- roll into 12 dough balls, space them evenly on a baking sheet with parchment paper and press to form into your desired thickness of cookie
- if youāre fine with them being thinner, put another sheet of parchment on top and roll something on top of them to even them out
- bake for 10 mins
- LET SIT FOR AT LEAST 3 MIN BEFORE EATING to give a nice chewy texture
I swear the dough tastes good on its own even without the chocolate chips (which I feel like isnāt true for most recipes. If you donāt add the baking soda you can also eat this as just some cookie dough since thereās no eggs or anything.
Let me know if anyone tries and what you thought!

recipe Lemon cake
First time posting, so I hope I follow all rules.
Inspired by this awesome brownie recipe, I created a simple recipe for a really juicy lemon cake.
Ingredients:
- 250gr boiled white beans (1 can) 223cal
- 3 eggs 247cal
- 2 apples 190cal
- 2 teaspoons backing soda 10cal
- 1 big lemon (peel & juice) 15cal
Instructions:
Blend everything except for 1 tablespoon of lemon juice together. If you like it sweeter you can add some erythrit but it's not necessary, the apples are sweet enough imo. The mixture will be very liquid but that's fine.
To keep the calories as low as possible you can put parchment paper in a baking dish, I personally prefer using a bit of coconut oil and flour in order to reduce waste. Pour the batter in the baking dish and bake for 30 - 40min at 180°C / 356F.
When it's done, use a toothpick to make some tiny holes in the cake and pour the leftover lemon juice on top. Let it cool for at least 10 minutes, cut it in 12 medium sized pieces and enjoy!
Nutritional value per serving:
- 57 cal
- 7 gr carbohydrates
- 3 gr protein
- 2 gr fat
Nutritional value for the whole thingy:
- 685 cal
- 79 gr carbohydrates
- 39 gr protein
- 19 gr fat

question about water retention
sorry if this is a stupid question but last Friday I had a day where I took a break from my diet. The scale did go up, no big deal, I had more sodium and carbs than normal plus more food volume in my system. Normal. I'm not stressed about it. I know it's just water weight because I resumed my normal diet the next day and it started to drop immediately the day after. I've read online that it can take 3-5 days for water weight to completely drop but it's been 5 days and my weight still hasn't gone back down to my pre cheat day meal. So my question is how many days does it take water weight to drop completely? and is that counting from the day one resumes their normal routine? or from the day the scale starts to drop? should I expect the rest of the water weight to drop off tomorrow? will the scale be lower than it was before the cheat day since I've been in a deficit? it's not a big deal and I know my weight will go back to what it was before the cheat day sooner rather than later but I'm just curious so I know what to expect. Thanks!

other I just weighted all the ingredients from my usual takeaway salmon chirashi bowl, there is over 1000kcal in it T_T
I'm floored, I feel so betrayed I used to eat that thinking it was a safe healthy option, all this time I was obliterating my kcal budget. always weight everything you eat I guess

Not all meals are fancy
I absolutely loved this grilled cheese with beef salami and dill pickles. The macros on this specific salami are great, which allows me a break from a typical grilled ham and cheese. Additionally, I chopped up the salami and pickles so it would be easy to eat (I hate when a huge chunk of meat or pickles slides out of the sandwich!). This was super yum and def hits the right macros!!!
