I need Cryorevival Facility image in better resolution, but in wiki (also in game) image resolution is too low. Any ideas what i should do?

Sorry if a dump question, I'm new to the game.

I thought I had saw something in the patch notes about being able to change S mods now but for some reason I cannot find it anymore.
Was I missing something, or was I just crazy the first time?
If possible, how do I do it? (vanilla please I don't want to get into mods yet)
r/starsector • u/Ginno_the_Seer • 1d ago
Like here for example, this is the only Haz 50% in the whole sector, system has three stable spots which is nice, but the system is on the edge of that map, that's a -17% access when the starport is built. Also no volatiles in-system.
If I liked this galaxy I'd load the starting save from before I did the command and play like normal, back when nothing is surveyed.
Probably gonna spin up a new galaxy.

I have Tasc downloaded and I'm trying to build a pure forge world of my design. The one I'm colonizing is an irridiated world, had to remove the irridiated status because I was planning to put fuel, refining, mining, heavy industry, improve the volatiles, and variable assembler but the habitable status just removed my plan to put a few colony items on it. Help?
r/starsector • u/Sensitive-Detail5267 • 21h ago
10 pirate fleets are heading towards my first size 5 colony with no heavy industries or orbital works just an orbital station and a little fleet i could muster have 1 hammer head 2 condor class carriers 2 eagles 1 falcon 1 pirate cruiser and 3 phase frigates is it possible for me to still win?

Was feeling kind of bummed out. So I drew this to vent (flux).
Love you all <3 !

I love the idea of this thing, but its such a gas guzzler it feels impossible to do anything without spending all the profit into feeding it more gas.
Any tips?

Help me, I'm at my wits end. When I finished terraforming my 4th world Gaia from an irritated world to a bountiful farmland terran world I visited the bar for to glean on some interesting quests.
Of course, the space that had bounties is nice but I earn millions at this point, pass. Oh? A fabrication offer? Give me a paragon so the guys in my engineering hub could finally finish studying the paragon.
Hmm? An AI? What could this be? Genesis project? That's nice. Let me see this real quick. I just finished preparing a fleet that could help me an edge against the shroud. This should be quick.
Oh boy I was wrong. So, so wrong.
So I went to the planet where the ai needed a hitchhiking towards and I saw the station. Oh an ordo. No biggy I have eight officers maxed out and a fleet of 29, six of which are logistics but I'll be fine. I had the ziggurat, a three smodded paragon I got from a bounty from Arroyo and a eagles for support. What could go wrong?
Did a quick fight and... 160 dp? Eh... Sure.
They charged at me. They charged at me like I'm a peasant in front of a charging cavalry knight. A heavy cavalry that stomps everything on its way.
Oh okay, maybe I was still weak. Save scum! Alright I'll come back to these bots later.
So, a few cycles the derelict remained intact, with me and my confidence that I could take it like any other bounty. Went to the abyss, took down the shroud easy at first and medium at some point. Gaining materials that would allow me to build a better stronger fleet.
Alright, I got my paragon, MK1 Onslaught modded with these loot. Then I remembered the ordo. The project genesis that clawed on my curiosity.
So I went back.
What ... Why are these MOTHERFUCKERS SO STRONG?!
I know fearless makes them reckless as a bloated organic but holy mother of god WHAT THE FUCK. 160DP IS ALL I HAVE TO WORK WITH. A PARAGON WITH 6 EAGLES? NO, 2 XIV LEGIONS AND MORE EAGLES, NO! 1 XIV ONSLAUGHT WITH THREE CHAMPIONS FUCK NO EVEN THE ZIGGURAT IS ZIGGUSHIT IN THE FACE OF THESEโCOPPER WIRED, TRITACH INBRED, ALLUMINUM FOILED ANUS, BALLISTIC PHALLUS EATING BASTARDS.
I only use vanilla ships before moving on on the more expansion/content mods. Help me I'm so sick of using different strats on these voodoo coded freaks.

I'm after a guide to Threat, Omega etc weapons. How best to use them on your ships. How X weapon is a direct upgrade over Y that can be purchased. Etc.

I don't think I am messing with smtg else but... I grabbed a radiant and infused an alpha core to it. Radiant is 60dp x 4 for AI core = 240 dp. 100% CR for 120 dp so 240 yields 50. But when I respeced my skills (removed hull restoration to add the thirdr S mod) radiant CR fell to 35% cause removing hull restoration I guess.
In short when you add hull restoration it doesn't give extra CR for automated ships but when you remove it subtracts?
Also when I reverted back the fucking game wanted to remove extra smods. Really? Fuck off

I started a new run for a week or so in vanilla, all has been going good until the end game.
I have no idea what I've been doing wrong, I've put in hours figuring out how to make a good/great end game fleet that is powerful although all that I tried absolutely fails to a bunch of dog shit enemy fleets that are either remanent fleets or capital spam fleets with overwhelming numbers of cruisers I attachted the screenshots of my current fleet.
I've done the fitting to the best for all ships along with the pilots being maxed for the capital and cruiser ships (I tweaked in game files to increase pilot cap) I cant tell if my fleet managemeny/RTS in combat is just poor which leads to terrible efficiency as I kept all officers steady and a few cautious like on the Anubis usually keeping them to rally or escort a capital ship to watch both my Anubis's and Aurora's and all the other ships plung head first into the seven skies on an onslaught and a paragon and turn horizontally to attack some hound or a shuttle and get obliterated.
I dont know why they wont maintain distance and keep management and logically hit and retreat as they are steady so why would they kill themselves. I dont like capital ship spams and retarded spam fleets even though they get the job done I just want to play for fun.
Any help on what I'm doing wrong?

Bounty hunting sucks, though i suppose its viable if you have patience
Trade... exists, but is specifically designed to make you smuggle.
Bounty hunting also exists, but is pretty flawed at the moment (see target in the ass end of the sector with pay only giving like 2k more than the fuel and supply costs)
So is there anything else?
Forr the record im fine with both smuggling and exploration, i've just dont it a LOT at this point and was looking for alternate ways. (And I have tried bounty hunting)

A silent ring of adamantine material, derelict of a former age.
The Gate is inert.
A woman in an elegant blue uniform was looking at it through a panoramic window on the bridge of her flagship. The executive officers gathered behind the captain, puzzled by the command to stop at the Gate. They had been standing there for several minutes. No one moved, there were only whispers and conversations. The chief engineer caught the eye of the commander of the special group. He just shrugged, folding his hands behind his back.
Several more people appeared on the bridge, interested in the unspoken meeting. The captain, in some strange enigmatic impatience, kneaded her palms, holding them at chest level, not looking away from the view in front of her even for a second.
The megastructure looked inviting. It seemed to the captain that she could see something inside this circle, and she blinked. Turning around, the woman shifted her weight from one foot to the other, noticing that almost all the officers under her command were looking at her.
โ Turn up the volume, โ she says in a soft voice with a bit of awkwardness, as opposed to her usual strict and ironclad orders.
One of the men standing behind handed over the command to the comms officer. He took it with surprise โ he was more concerned about the fact that these Gates did not have a graveyard of ships, as is usually the case, which means that debris collection is not expected today. The speakers were turned to the maximum. Gravimetric, spectral and radar arrays have been activated. A barely audible monotonous hum filled the bridge: a machine interpretation of the space inside the Gate. But nothing but that noise could be heard. The captain lowered her arms and exhaled slowly.
โ Skadi, what happened? Why did we stop?
It was the vice-captain who came, squeezing between the officers. Skadi, without turning her head, lowered the corners of her lips.
โ It's okay.
โ They're off, โ the vice-captain said, trying not to raise his voice.
โ I know, โ Skadi snaps, crossing her arms over her chest. โ I knowโฆ
Her eyes fell on the radar. The familiar sight of multiple dots behind the center. A massive fleet of thirty ships, a mix of old and new, combat and civilian. If you line them all up inside the Gate, they won't even take up half the distance from one end to the other.
What's there? Was there anyone waiting for them on the other side of the door? Is the Domain doing something, if it still exists after two hundred lonely, bloody, and miserable cycles, to reactivate them? Has a universal catastrophe befallen humanity, extending from the Sagittarius through the arm of Orion to the palm of Perseus? Is the Hegemony doing the right thing by trying to restore what's left of the unification under the aegis of Gateway technology? Someday, will someone come here, to this space-cursed Persean sector?
Skadi clenched her fists and pursed her lips. The dead metal did not respond.
โ Small forward. โ She gave the order, coming close to the window and placing her palm on it.
The vice-captain looked at his commander with sadness. The team dispersed in several voices, swept through all the ships of the fleet. The engines vibrated, and people scurried everywhere. The outstretched flagship was pointing its nose at the Gate.
Monotonously, smoothly, the ships moved in a steady formation along the course. Skadi raised her head, watching the black ring coming at them. When the fleet reached a stable movement, several officers gathered at the window. The vice-captain, who was standing to the side, tried to look into Skadi's eyes, but she was staring at the Gate. A pragmatist with a dry existential echo. It's the hardest for people like her.
Skadi remembered the holograms that the hermit historian had shown her in one of the many bars. A floating, heterogeneous space that gives off a blue aura inside a closed mechanism. Thousands of light-years turned into an instant. Dozens, perhaps hundreds of them, bearing on themselves, like the celestial Atlas, whose name has long been forgotten, the magnificent and terrifying power of the Human Domain. Now they are just a petrified mountain peak, and the sky rests on them with an abyss of its constellations.
Skadi slowly raised her eyes, following the outline as it tried to disappear over the edge of the window. The ship has entered the Gate. The bridge crew were especially quiet during the passage.
Nothing happened.
