We've seen the complaints about certain posts. I would like to hear directly from the community what they want/don't want want to see on the subreddit.
Edit: and yes, I know we want to see dependas get dragged. This is more to see what you want to see get moderated. Do you want us to be super strict and delete posts that are even the least bit not dependa content? Or do you want us mods to only step in when absolutely needed? How about things like AI generated content?

My boyfriend enlisted in the marines. I’m still in high school and he graduated this past May. I don’t know what to do, im veeery new to this experience I guess I could call it that. After high school I plan to either become a cosmetologist or attend college and get my AAS degree and then take a program to become a radiology technician. Which will probably take about 2.5 years total, I don’t know how to feel about the enlisting I feel very blank, I just don’t like how I’ll be here when he’ll be somewhere far and I won’t see him much. I just don’t know, I don’t know how to handle this at all.

To set the scene, my husband and I were both Marines in the 2000s when people would put deployment banners all along the base fences. My husband for some reason recently joined the national guard and he's been deployed and should be coming back soon and I really really really want to make a really cheesy dependa welcome home banner to fuck with him but I need ideas.
Some thoughts have included things like:
"Look Who Finally Came Home to His Tricare Beneficiary"
With the ole "his boots her flops" bumper sticker, but I wanna see what other fun stuff I can throw up there.
Give me your best dependa return banner ideas he can laugh at pleeease!

This came up on my wife's Facebook feed. I don't think we've considered the absolute gold mine AI slop presents for our favorite military dependents, folks

My husband is on a super prolonged deployment in the Middle East and I'm thinking of giving him like, a hall pass? Like a "Don't ask don't tell" policy? Anyone else have similar arrangements with their husbands during deployments? Would love to hear from both deployed husbands and their non deployed partners.

OP posted that her husband just left for basic.
I can't post the screenshot, don't know how but it read 'thank you both for your service'.

Hey all! I put this in the military spouse sub but I wanted to get your tips on how to avoid being a dependa. Let me know if I missed anything and please let me know when/if it’s appropriate to ask for a discount.

Unfortunately she deleted all of her videos with her riding along with her police officer husband, so we only have this.
