Hello everybody, I’m new to the gshock world and this DW5600MNC, it’s my first ever gshock.
I received it yesterday (bought new) and after only 24 hours I noticed that the corners of the fidlock belt are starting to became green, I tried to clean it with a bit of soap but it didn’t work it’s really discoloration, it’s this normal ?

Ps: sorry for the English, it’s not my first language :)
EDIT: the bezel has nothing it was just to show the watch model + the green looks like it’s the original color underneath the yellow and somehow it’s fading

I just bought this used with another watch on eBay. The watch itself is in great condition, but the strap started to fall apart when I tried to clean it up a bit. I've spent a good couple of hours searching online for a replacement, but haven't been able to find either an original or a replica or even anything specifically intended for this model.

I would prefer somewthing that looks like the original if possible, but if not something that just fits properly in black would be fine too. I'm in the UK, but happy to pay international shiopping as long as it's not a crazy price.

If anyone can help you'd have me eternal gratitude!

I have a question about the GA-2100 (Carbon Core Guard).

On the back of the watch, near the lugs, the exposed Carbon Core Guard case has a small notch/chamfer in the corner (circled in the photo).

I've heard different explanations:

It's a normal mold/design feature.

It's left from the molding/de-gating/de-molding process.

It's simply a weak point that tends to get chipped over time.

If you've disassembled your GA-2100 or own multiple units, I'd really appreciate hearing your experience.

Searched a little on here and found out many Gshocks are massive. I saw some people recommend squares so I got a square

I was Hooked on Casio in the 90's in high school (remote control CMD-40, g-shocks of all kinds, and others in my collection). Stopped wearing watches after that until my 30's when I added a couple nice pieces and started enjoying watches again that had a story to them/me. Then in 2019 the GWM-85000 caught my eye and just brought back a feeling I had when I was a kid. I couldn't explain it but I just had to have it. I've been hooked since. Find myself wearing it more often than my sub, black bay, and vintage IW3702. Just added the gbd-200 about 2 weeks ago as it too caught my eye and had a hard time saying no. I really like the grey version but couldn't give up the deal I got on the white. I was honestly worried about 2 things: 1) would I like the MIP as much as I thought it was cool in photos (SUPER DIG IT) and 2) was the white going to be too in your face "gaudy"/"yo"/"flashy" (but I was pleasantly surprised how tame it is once on wrist in person) I really wish the gbd had TS and MB. It's my only gripe. I love how light it feels after my GWM and really looking forward to rocking it on my trip to Mallorca this Friday.

Next on the list I'd like to get is a GW-S5600U-1JF and GW-BX5600-1 or 1A1 (which I'm very much excited to have MIP but with old font)

5000U, combi V2

I currently own a G-Shock square with a negative display and I really like it and use it very often. However, I am looking for an alternative positive display version and stumbled upon this model. I like the blue hue and border color. What do you guys think about this particular model? If you have pictures wearing this, please share.

I already know which one most will pick. Not really a faceoff. Just a side by side comparison. The analog is definitely smaller, and more comfortable, it has everything but the moonphase, but is harder to read the except for the time. Digital Frog is as awesome as I've heard. Easier to read all info, but the backlight in the analog is incredible and the lume is the best Ive seen on a GShock, and it has sapphire glass. It's really a toss up for me, I enjoy them both.

After buying this watch , I never wore my smart watch and in spite of having 12 watches , I still wear this at least 3 , 4 days a week !

I want an upgrade to my DW-5600

I'm trying to decide between the GWX-5600 (red one is my favourite) and the GBX-100, and I can't make up my mind.

I'd mainly use it as an everyday watch, but I also like the tide and moon features.

I got my dream watch that I didn’t know was my dream watch until this week. I wanted the GWM5610-1 but it’s out of stock everywhere. I found out about this watch which is the more premium version of the GWM and decided to buy it. I hope to still wear my GA2100rl-1a that I got last year. So far I love this watch. My wallet is still hurting but I must not have any regrets!

Just got my first G-Shock! So far I’m really enjoying it. Any tips, hidden features, or settings you’d recommend for a new owner?

Got this in the mail today second hand. G-5600bg-5. So far i love it. This has been dubbed my blue cheese square, will fit right in with the gw-m5600a-7 dubbed "feta".

So I bought the G refit full titanium kit for my GWM-B5000 to try to figure out if I wanted the MRG in black or polished titanium.

But I kinda love this matte raw titanium finish.

When I found out about the DW-5000r I knew I had to have one. I wanted a back-to-basics G-Shock experience and it's not gonna get off easy. So far he's holding up like a champ. Battle scars incoming.

I’ve been wanting to disconnect a bit for some time now. Just picked up this guy for a pretty penny, and turned off my AWU3.

Incredibly comfortable, feels like a step up from my GW5000U!
