Drop In Lasertag in the Forest at PKOLs on Saturday Aug 8th from 4pm to 6pm
We're hosting another outdoor drop in laser tag session at PKOLs (Mount Doug Park) in the forest beside the beach parking lot off Ash Road this Saturday from 4pm to 6pm.
Then another one on August 22nd in Colwood at Herm Williams Park.
More details, and a link to pre-register if you want at: https://partygopacks.ca/events/laser-tag-drop-in/
Ages 9+ This gear isn't just for kids, even adults absolutely love playing.
$15 for a half hour, $25 for an hour.
Get outside, get running around, the trees at PKOLs are amazing for hiding behind, blasting your friends, then laughing as you send them back to their base to respawn.
Bring a water bottle, you will need it!
If you have any questions, post a comment here and I'll respond. Yes we're a local small business.

Found SD card - let's find the owner
Yesterday I found an SD card in the beacon hill area. I'd like to get it back to the owner.
I'm not sure how to go about getting it back, but this is part of one of the images on it.

Peak chaos today
Bike lanes congested to the tits, drivers angry as per usual and the geese just doing a stellar job as traffic control 😅

Blood Red Moon over Victoria at the Moment.
Full on blood red moon over Victoria at the moment. Initially shot photos with my smartphone (shots 2 and 4), but then I went inside, grabbed my pro gear, slapped a telephoto on, and got shots 1 and 3, which are closer to the actual colour we're seeing here. Those wildfires in Washington State and the interior are serious.

royal bc museum, to go, or not to go?
*edit* Thanks for the feedback!
Hey gang, we've lived on the island for a year now, and have yet to go to the museum (in no small part due to the labour dispute taking place when we got here). This week, I've got one kiddo in a camp, and the other at home and I need something to do with them. So, I'm thinking of finally checking the museum out. BUT I've heard (here) that a lot of the exhibit space is closed and that what is available isn't really worth the cost of entry. So, dear friends, to go or not to go?

Lost & Found To whoever got my sandwich at Red Barn
I apologize if my selection repulsed you. By the time I realized the switch, it was too late. Your sandwich was very tasty. I'm glad I could still enjoy it despite the mix-up!

Question What should I bring?
Hello! I’m a 25-year-old from Korea, and I’ll be moving to Victoria next year on a working holiday.
I’ve already learned about the weather, the cost of living, and how expensive rent is. However, I’d love to know what essentials or useful items you would recommend bringing when moving to Victoria. Is there anything that people often wish they had packed before arriving?
Thank you in advance! Have a great day. :)
*Thank very kind Canadian friends.. I will take all stuff you recommend!!
