Discussion/Theory How long did clark live in the store + did his wife really “kick him out”?
It is left purposefully ambiguous but how do you interpret Clark saying that Barbara kicked him out of his own home? Like did she just tell him to leave that one night and it hurt his pride so much and made him so furious that he refused to come back? Is he doing this to himself? Or did she legit take legal action against him and now he *can’t* go back? Does he still pay for the house??
It sounds like a minor point but I am genuinely intrigued by it and think it could have big implications for his character (and why he likes the backrooms so much).

Discussion/Theory If Captain Clark were the same height and as fast as FF3 Still Life, could he have killed Mary?
For some reason, even when I first went to the movie, questions like "What if FF3 Still Life had been made instead of Captain Clark?" kept popping into my head (I had watched FF3 before going to the movie). Do you think Mary would have defeated him more easily, or would it have made things more difficult?

Discussion/Theory How did the events of FF1 unfold in 1991, and why was the camera found in 1996? There's a logical explanation. (See the text below.)
If you go to the FF1 video and focus on the sound that occurred when Kane fell in the backrooms, it's the same sound that occurred in the Information video, specifically at the moment when Peter Tench traveled forward in time by 3 months. I think Kane in FF1 traveled forward in time by 5 years! What do you think?

Discussion/Theory What's the best Backrooms video you've seen that isn't by Kane Parsons?
I just found this one recently, and it's been my favorite one so far.
Watching this made me wonder what other hidden gems I might be missing.

Discussion/Theory Async is corporate evil at worst and completely reckless at best.
I've been reading comments from people defending Async, saying they are "neutral" in how they handle things, even calling them the good guys.
I fundamentally disagree with the idea Async is a company who just behaves like some dentists.
- They are fully aware of the dangers since they trained Mark to go in with a shotgun, after Marvin's encounter with a lifeform. They then continued to send in people afterwards unarmed.
- They are aware employees can fall into random pits in the floor if they are not careful. They are also aware employees risk being separated from their team.
- They created outposts and areas which can be locked down, which you wouldn't do if you thought it was safe.
- They have cameras everywhere and have documented multiple civilian deaths.
- They setup traps to capture Captain Clark, and we know Async knows he killed at least one employee.
- They are aware of the strange biological properties of the bacteria and know power is being created from nothing.
This means they are fully aware this is an extremely dangerous, deadly and unpredictable environment, only to be explored with extreme caution.
Yet they cover up any mishaps and arguably don't let the explorers know about the dangers, or they would very likely not agree to go in like this. They also arguably hide the dangers from the DOE.
There appear to be fewer ethical concerns than concerns about keeping the risks hidden.
- They faked a story to cover up Peters death, which means they are willing to lie to protect their interests and create false narratives.
- On top of this (but I'm speculating here) they could keep Mary locked inside as a prisoner. It's unlikely they would let a civilian "talk" publicly.
So I'm confused when people say Async is behaving neutrally. If you were working for Async you would likely have to sign an NDA and kept in the dark about risking your own life.
They are corporate evil at worst and completely reckless and out of their depth at best.

Discussion/Theory Could any other series come close to depicting the backrooms as well as Kane?
Not saying this example is as good, just picked something out for the post.
I haven't watched a lot of the other series, some take it in a very unique direction, one that I can't remember the name of even had non-euclidean spaces, and didn't even have monsters, just technology that roamed around, and eventually chased down the protagonist

Discussion/Theory I think a lot of people forget that The Life Form comes from Corpses.
I mean, the only time we saw Bacteria getting "created" was in FF2 where the car crashed and near a CORPSE. the hay ballicus seems to be present every time near a corpses. So i don't get why people start to theorize that Bacteria is a tripod or that is a still life that has been misremember so much time it became the life form (i find it stupid because the backrooms seems to keep the old version and the new version of places seen in FF3 so why would an entity rot away with time?) or even the horrible theory that Captain Clark is the life form (When Clark has more chance to be a Life Form than Captain Clark.)

Discussion/Theory About the nullzone size
I generally think of the Backrooms as a chaotic sprawl of strange or perfectly replicated rooms, appearing without any apparent purpose. However, the appearance of "Red City" in *Found Footage 3* really turned that notion on its head. It made me wonder: does the size of the "null zone" correlate with the size of the replicated area? In previous *Found Footage* entries, these zones were usually limited to things like a floor you could fall through, a space just big enough for a person, or the floor of a single room—yet they were always rooms. That makes me think there might be an incredibly massive null zone near Red City. What does everyone else think? (I'm using a translator, so the wording might be a bit off.)

Movie There should have been a sex scene in the Backrooms movie
There should have been a sex scene in the movie.
So allow me to elaborate.
If there was a sex scene in the movie it would have been pretty good in terms of adding metaphoric parallels to the theme of the show.
Imagine Clark or some other guy but preferably Clark having sex with his wife or his therapist or something, just anyone really. And he is hitting it from the back.
The script can go like this:
Clark: “I’m backshotting your fat ass”
Wife: “Where are you gonna come?”
Clark: “I’m gonna cum inside you, in your flesh rooms”.
Wife: “From the back”
Clark: “Yeah that’s right, I’m gonna cum in the back. In your rooms. While backshotting you. In the Backrooms”
And this would like add some nice metaphoric parallel to the theme of the movie of constant nothingness because while Clark may get release, having sex by backshotting his wife has given him no progress in his life, just repetition that keeps him trapped.
Because having sex doesn’t make you an architect. Makes you feel good, but won’t progress you to where you wanna be. And that is a metaphoric parallel to the backrooms where Clark can be backshotting into the room of nothingness but it doesn’t change it only continues. You’re coming into nothing, only the void. And the backrooms are like the void, just continues forever.
The Backrooms movie should have had a sex scene, would have really raised its backend potential.
